    This is a much needed feature. I have many CF's that are being used for alerts. We have alerts configured to email when a specific set of services enter a stopped state. New services have been created since the creation of the CF's. The extraction is not extracting the full name of the service. I need to edit the extraction rule to include this new service name, but cannot.

    I don't know why that hadn't occurred to me. SMH
    I added this a few hours ago now, but am not seeing any AD FS log entries as of yet.

    Thanks for the feedback. We understand the misnomer with time values shown in Alerts.
    We have tried to correct this behavior in new Azure Alerts (Preview) – where we provide query preview for log alert created using localized time as reference. Azure Alerts (Preview) currently allows you to create and manage both monitor as well as log analytics based alerts from the same interface; for more details see: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/new-alerts-preview-in-azure-monitor/
