Azure Purview is currently in commercial preview, Are there plans to make this product available to GOV / DOD customers in the future?

1. purview as shared global metadata model across synapse workspaces, azure databricks workspaces - delta lakes, AAS, Power BI and other data store within enterprise.


2. Ability to map schema and tables - as external schema and tables across multiple compute engines (synapse, adb) as long as there is link between compute engine is present. Classic example is tables created with Synapse - SQL POOL will be available as external tables in ADB and vice versa. Technologies like Polybase will behind the scene will provide ability to create virtualization platform with out causing any data movements.

Add label to attributes or columns in the table with Keys like PrimaryKey, NotNull, etc., or adding custom Business rules.
Eg. a status column could have only values new, active, completed.

When I scanned my Power BI source, it scanned everything including all the DEV, QA and other App Workspaces and Workspaces which we have. This is lot of data and noise for normal user to consume when they search. It would be great if the scan for Power BI also gives us option to predefine the App or App Workspaces we want to scan.

I don't think white space can be used at the moment, there are times when it is inconvenient to use a lot of - etc.

According to doc, Maximum size of an asset in a catalog is 2 MB. That seems quite low, and I was able to scan a 4MB XLSX file anyway. What does this limit mean?

Lineage or show link or correlation between tables and cols with help of model or keys or values in each col, etc. it is hard to manually find it when there are too many interconnected systems. also want to see end to end lineage for col level.
