  2. Impacts ability to automate Service Health Alert creation: ActivityLogAlertLeafCondition does not support containsAny

We have automated the creation of Service Health alerts for our subscriptions.

We are finding that the ActivityLogAlertLeafCondition object (and the New-AzActivityLogAlertCondition command) do not support the -ContainsAny option. This means that we now have an inconsistent approach to creating alerts where some must be created using templates and others using powershell.

In fact, this is not supported in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/az.monitor/new-azactivitylogalertcondition?view=azps-4.1.0 nor documented in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/templates/microsoft.insights/2017-04-01/activitylogalerts.

  3. Allow management group level service health alerts

Currently separate alerts need to be created per subscription. When teams are managing dozens of subscriptions, it would be much easier to have a management group level alert or even the ability to select multiple subscriptions when creating service health alerts.

  4. Create service health alert for multiple subscriptions

It would be great to be able to select multiple subscriptions across directories when creating service health alerts. Now it is allowed to create under one subscription.

  6. have resolved, active in subject line for resource health, currently it's all the same

Currently the subject line is the same for all alerts
Azure Monitor alert '' was activated for 'xxx2' at UTC

Both for when alert fires up or resolved.
This makes quite hard to integrate with some ticketing system, and even in email, people have to dig in into the body to see what details are.

Would be good if subject line contains "resolved" when resources are back online
    and
    "unavailable" when resources are unavailable
    or degraded

  9. Ability to simulate alerts for testing

I would like to be able to simulate an alert being generated for testing. Currently you have to wait until an event happens before I can test integrations from the alerting.

  10. Show Service Health Alert with local language

Usually, the Service Health Alert has written by English only.
If the person receiving the alert is not fluent in English, response may be delayed.
It is very safe to have parallel notification in the local language.
We would like to be alerted and displayed in local languages where possible.

  11. Is there a way to get alerts or configure alerts when there is an update on status page

If there is a new comment added in https://status.azure.com/en-us/status or status of any of the resource changes, we need to be notified. I am aware about the service health but that is applicable for specific resources. We would like to have alerts on the regional alerts

  12. Allow filtering for specific resource names in Service Health Alerts

I am a DBA. I want to be notified of Planned Maintenance and other Service Health Alerts for Virtual Machines, but only ones running SQL Server. I only have a few, and picking them by name would be sufficient for my needs (which is something I can do for Activity Log Alerts). I don't want to be alerted regarding our many, many other VMs.

I am sure there are many other use cases for people wanting to be notified only for a subset of the resources of any given type.

  14. date and time last updated

    https://status.azure.com/en-us/status

This page should show the last updated information by showing the clock
(date and time). Or else we may not be assured when the latest update was received from the backend teams.

  16. Roll status up to region

On https://status.azure.com/en-us/status if everything in a region is Good, have the checkmark roll up next to the region name. As is, one has to scroll way down the page in order to verify that everything is good in a region.

  20. Include Bookmark links in https://status.azure.com/en-us/status/history/ to point to an specific day or section

    Hi

It would be nice to include bookmark links in https://status.azure.com/en-us/status/history/ to point to a particular section/day within the page instead of manually scrolling down looking for the section

    something like

    https://status.azure.com/en-us/status/history#june02
