Allow the ability to refresh Advisor recommendations
It would be great to have functionality to refresh advisor recommendations through a PowerShell command in the Az.Advisor library, we can already get and disable recommendations but currently do not have the ability to do a full refresh.
Thanks for your note. Advisor relies on backend telemetry to update its recommendation list. There will always be some delay between resolving a recommendation and seeing it removed from the list. If more people also feel strongly about this issue, we can prioritize accordingly.

Yes, we can't see the wood for the trees without the ability to refresh
Advisor is really a great service to optimize & control everything, but when remediations are applied, we should be able the refresh the state manually, or force a refresh every 4 hours in your backend or at least on a daily basis.

Yes this is very necessary. We've been struggling with SC because of this and a few other limitations that defy common sense. It would be best if you could force a refresh but at a minimum clearly state when the next refresh will occur at what date the current data is from. Also, finding that dismissing and disabling are not working in some cases - Once a finding is found I think the data is not always cleared by those actions so that it's "stuck" I think retention is possibly working against us since set for 2 years on the workspace used.

Extremely important. At a minimum need to show when last update was in UI.
This absolutely needs to be prioritized. I've had recommendations take nearly a week to disappear after remediating the issue. Couple that with the fact that many security recommendations don't clearly state what needs to be done to fix the issue and I've spent weeks trying to address reported issues without actually knowing whether or not the steps I'm taking are the right ones.
If nothing else it would be nice if we could download a script / application to manually scan the machine directly and verify whether the is.sues have been addressed.
Please add a REFRESH operation

Yes, it would be very useful to have a way to tell the Advisor to refresh its recommendations.
@Azure Advisor , what is the duration a resource is monitored before creating a recommendation.
May be a list of days per service would be helpful to depend on the advisor feature instead of waiting for unknown time.
Can we also have a notification email for existing recommendations on request basis . Like adding a new action group and get all current recommendations.
I followed the recommendations but the High rule is still there, but the details show No resources found.

Of course more people "feel strongly" about this. It's taking weeks to get a clean report out of security center and I can't tell what I have done and what I haven't. This is a terrible user experience.

From a non-auditor standpoint, I just want easier/better confirmation that the mitigation steps I took were actually the corrects ones to solve the recommendation. Right now I have to keep checking back to see what (if anything) has cleared out.

yes we want the refresh option
Yes, we want this also

Thanks, Vipin. We'll look into this.

Yes this refresh thing is annoying especially when internal auditor is not understanding this Advisor's limitation of not refreshing immediately.
Please do give a REFRESH button to immediately reconcile telemetry data to give real time results.

Addressing Azure Advisor recommendations does not refresh the original list. For example, addressing Azure service notification alerts took hours after addressing to be removed from the Azure Advisor recommendations list.
