Azure IoT Solution Accelerators
Azure IoT solution accelerators are a collection of ready-to-use, reliable and customizable IoT solutions that implement common IoT scenarios. When you deploy a solution accelerator, the deployment includes all the required cloud-based services along with any required application code.

Alert is not triggered when rule is set to “Equals zero” for Remote Monitoring solution.
Repro steps:
Create a Remote Monitoring solution.
Create a alert rule for Engines Device group that is set when the fuel level is zero for 1 minute. Please see ruledetails.png.
Select engine-01.0 and run emptytank method
Check the fuellevel is set to zero to make sure emptytank method succeeded. Please see devicedetails.png
This alert is expected to trigger since fuellevel is set to zero but no alerts are triggered after 1 minute.

Allow use of Pre-established Resource Group
Along with selecting the subscription it would be nice to use an "already established" resource group. My enterprise admin only allows me to create resources in my own resource group (i.e. JonDoe-rg"). I would still like to select my own solution name but have the resources created in my resource group.

Make Pricing More Transparent! Why isn't there a way to create a test account??!
Pricing isn't clear at the start and so within just a few days, one can amass a really high bill without understanding. It would be nice to EASILY understand how to control the cost BEFORE starting. It would be really nice to be able to create a test account - I would be happy to pay for a sandbox, if it were easy. Today I just canceled my accelerator because we spent over $250 without understanding how to even use the accelerator. Very unhappy about that.

Device Simulation - "Advanced" Custom Devices
We want to utilise the device simulation service to replicate real iot hardware. Ideally we would be able to mirror the dataflow (telemetry messages, Device Twin Reported Property Updates) and control interface (Direct Methods, C2D Message, Device Twin Desired Property Updates) 1 to 1.
We currently use custom devices to send custom telemetry data and IoT Hub direct methods to control the simulated device.
Is it possible to pass a payload with the direct method call, and if yes, how can this payload be accessed in a custom device configuration javascript file?
Is it possible to change reported properties and…

Can't upload droneRecall-method.js basing on tutorial
It's not possible to upload second javascript file, even basing on Microsoft tutorial: "Create an advanced device model". "Browse" button stops to work after uploading first file.
Is anybody testing this product ? There is a really many problems in most basic operations.

devices management by users
There may be quite a lot devices to manage, or in terms of the operation role, so , besides managing the devices by group, it's also necessary to manage the devices by login users.

Deploy IoT remote monitoring via devops release pipeline
According to this page, the options to deploy remote monitoring include 4 local deployments, and one deployment using a CLI provided by node.
Following the CLI method a human has to log in and then "follow the on screen instructions" to complete deployment.
How are we supposed to create an azure devops release pipeline for this solution?

Broken uploading
When uploading a custom device model, the uploader would not allow my behavior script to be named anything except "drone-state.js" which is the file name from the tutorial (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-accelerators/iot-accelerators-device-simulation-advanced-device#behavior-script-files).
If the IoTHub connection string doesn't work when creating a simulation, there's no way forward except canceling and starting over.
The inputs relating to messages per second really need to be labeled.
