  4. Azure Resource Graph: Add support for the semi and anti flavors to the join operator

While leftsemi/anti and rightsemi/anti are part of KQL for the join operator, they aren't supported by Resource Graph. Only innerunique, inner, and leftouter are supported.

  5. Get Cost Details of Each Resource Per Day

I am looking for a way to get cost of each Resource via Resource Graph API. We are extensively using Azure Consumption API's and preparing different kinds of Dashboards. If we have the ability to pull cost related data via Azure Resource Graph that would be saving lots of time.

  9. Ability to Integrate Depedency mapping in Azure Resource Graph with integration to Visio/Microsoft Graph or Security Center

Ability to integrate Azure Resource Graph Dependency and Discovery mapping results in Log Analytics (Log analytics (Service Map or Security Center) / Visio or Microsoft Graph (PaaS).

When moving resources from Resource Group to another Resource Group, most of the time it's difficult to get an overview of any backend dependencies. When performing a Move operation, a post check will be done, and if by any chance, a discrepancy is found, the Move operation will quit and display the failure in a RAW message format.

It would be great to have these backend dependencies visible by using the Resource Graph…

  10. Warn when results are truncated in Search-AzGraph

Currently, when a you run a query via Search-AzGraph but don't specify the -First parameter, the results are limited to the first 100 items (see https://github.com/Azure/azure-powershell/blob/master/src/ResourceGraph/ResourceGraph/Cmdlets/SearchAzureRmGraph.cs for source code details).

Whilst the reasoning behind limiting the results is fully understood (a select everything across all subscriptions is obviously going to return a large result set!) it should at very least result in a warning when results are truncated.

As a secondary but related suggestion, I would also like to see the same warning be surfaced when the -First parameter is supplied but the result set is larger than the chosen…

  12. Return Azure Policy "friendly names" with Azure Resource Graph - policyresources.

While running non-compliant reports using the policyresources table appears you cant return the friendly azure policy name in ARG. This would be very helpful for our teams when reviewing our dashboards or exporting a CSV.

  13. Support Query VMSS Instances View (PowerState of VMs in the set)

It now supports to query power state of VM, but unable to get the same info from VMSS.

The instances view info can be gathered from API or CLI, but not in ResourceGraph.

    Please add this support, thanks.

  14. Azure Resource Graph - Limitations in the Result Set

Query results return only 1000 records

Resource Graph limits any query to returning only 1000 records. This can be extended to the exact output values or the commands like First and Skip should be added with Kusto as well to exactly see the data.

Also we are not able to use the MAP Visualization, as none of the Data set is matching with it. Can you add a demo for it as well.

Can you elaborate on your scenario here? You can use Skip control to look at larger date sets.
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/governance/resource-graph/concepts/work-with-data#skipping-records
Is that what you’re referring to?
Regarding Map visualization, are you referring to Resource Graph Explorer on the portal? If so, here is an example you can use maps:

    resources
    | where type == “microsoft.compute/virtualmachines”
    | summarize count() by location

  15. is there any logic apps connector is available ?

how we can schedule export the result of the resource graph? or is there any logic apps connector available.

  17. Support GraphQL as an alternative to Kusto

Lots of work being done in GraphQL that are well aligned w what is done via Kusto and gets to a more common language and structure. Agreed gql is more complex than Kusto, but be helpful.

  18. Add Meter Category/Service Name in resource graph

The category type Meter category, which is available at billing modul is not available at resource graph.
It is only the resource type category available, that is not the same as meter category.
So it is not possible to make billing queries in billing modul and compare this with counts from resources in resource graph.

  19. Please add support for Azure Firewall Policy

Please add support for Azure Firewall Policy

    Resource Type : Microsoft.Network/firewallPolicies/ruleCollectionGroups
In classic Azure Firewall, I could query Firewall rulesets. So I could download all the rules to CSV file on Azure Portal. And also I could make a nice view to using workbooks.
But the new version of the Firewall (aka Policy Mode) I couldn't query Firewall rulesets. So I should have use PowerShell.

  20. Resource Graph 'resourceChanges' API call is broken - 'Create' changes not returned by multiple sdk's.

Resource Changes method call does not return any 'Create' changes. Under the documentation for resource changes an example of a resourceChanges API call for a new storage account is given. Here it displays what the JSON response will look like, showing multiple changes including a 'Create' change type. I have been unable to replicate this functionality from my end.

Only 'Delete' and 'Update' changes are returned in the call, meaning this functionality is incomplete and not as advertised. Confirmed by one of Azure's Python SDK devs that this is a service issue and that the API call is broken.
