DPM to Protect SQL 2014 using CSV as storage
With SQL 2014 it can now be deployed on Cluster Shared Volume as storage. DPM needs to protect SQL 2014 with CSV as storage.
With DPM 2019 UR2 now you can protect SQL Server Failover Cluster Instance using Cluster Shared Volume as the storage for database. The step to protect SQL server remains same. You just need to upgrade your DPM 2019 server to Update Rollup 2.
Please test the same and share your feedback at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Same here - need DPM to backup SQL 2014 when using CSV as storage!
We plan also to implement SQL server 2014 FCI using Cluster Shared Volume.
I hope that DPM will be able to support this configuration very soon!

Customer are planning soon migration from SQL 2008 to SQL 2014 FCI with CSV, and this is a blocker for them on their disaster recovery plan and using DPM 2012 R2. There's a great expectation to have this included on the next Update Roolup.

our cxs would love to have this feature included! I've seen many questions from our cx.
CSV is a great new feature of SQL 2014, many people will like it! And then wants to protect it with DPM.. I hope this support will come soon.
