Azure Monitor
Azure Monitor Action Groups enable you to configure how to receive notifications when an Azure Monitor Alert is triggered.

Sort the list of templates in an action group in combination with the ITSM Connector
When you add an ITSM Connector action to an action group you have to select a template for an incident workitem. This list of templates is not sorted and there is also not an option to filter. With sometimes hundreds of templates this is an absolute nightmare. Start by sorting the list of templates. Adding an option to filter as well would be a great addition.

Ability to show Azure Databricks cluster metrics using Azure Monitor on Azure Dashboard
Azure Monitor does not show Databricks cluster metrics in Azure Dashboard. Add the ability to show Databricks metrics in Azure Monitor dashboard.

Full transparency when VMs are throttled
Please allow us to learn when Azure decides to throttle disk/CPU resources. You already have the data. I'm just asking that you share it with the customer so we can build alerts based on that data. Your suggested solution of asking each user to run performance-monitoring services within the client to monitor disk throughput/CPU usage is straight from the Department of Redundancy Department.

Azure Monitor dashboards created from Analytics queries are not auto-refreshed
Created visualizations using Application Insights/Log Analytics (KQL), and has pinned them to the dashboard in Azure portal. The dashboard however does not provide any mechanism to set auto-refresh interval and hence customer has to manually click the refresh icons each time on each visualization.

Heartbeat Metrics Alert to pass Computer Resource ID
Currently there is no heartbeat metrics alert available for VM to pass resource ID. Most of the customers are being looked for this solution to implement in Heartbeat Metrics alert.
If Microsoft enable this option that would help to customer to get Resource ID in the Heartbeat metrics Alert.
please take this request as Priority as per customer Feedback and do the needful at the earliest..

Rework the standard support e-mail
The standard e-mail is not very good.
I have 6 different subscriptions to monitor. There is no way of knowing which subscription has triggered the alert, unless i memerize the GUID for the subscription.
Rule ID: Same thing. Use the name of the sub instead.
The link in the e-mail points to "the portal". Just the default page. Is there no way to point the user to at least some other page, nearer the actual error?

On app service performance counters for TCP connections, don't filter by TCP state, instead show a line per type
Under "Diagnose and solve problems" > "Metrics per instance (Apps)" > "Perf Counters" > "TCPv4\ TCPv4 Connections Established"
It describes the graph as...
Connections Established is the number of TCP connections for which the current state is either ESTABLISHED or CLOSE-WAIT.Can you instead show a line per state so we can understand if there are connection issues. And don't filter on just the above 2, show all.
Also, the description has "CLOSE-WAIT" as what it is showing, but the state in TCP is actually "CLOSEWAIT", is there a possible bug with the filter and it is actually not…

Set the axis tick marks in Azure Monitor
Currently, the axis tick marks in Azure Monitor are calculated automatically based on the data.
There are situations where I would like to see a more detailed the axis tick.
So I'd like to see a feature developed to set the axis scale in Azure Monitor!4 votes -
Azure Action Group cannot be easily renamed
There is no way to rename Azure Action Groups after they are created. Only way is to delete and recreate the Action Group with the desired name. This is an inconvenience for the user, having the ability to edit and rename the Action group name would be very useful.

Allow Action Groups to be assigned to alerts across subscriptions
-A single team defines action groups, with custom payloads and webhook endpoints
-Deploys them to their resource group
-Assigns the tenant read access to the resource
-Other teams can then create alerts and utilize that single source to pick action groups4 votesThanks for your feedback and its now open for the user community to upvote & comment on. create a Monitor alert mechanism for Mangement group or subscription
Please create a Azure monitor alert for management group so that we don't have to go for each subscriptions etc to apply all alerts, and for example if we do have a new subscription etc we do not have any mechanism to get create alert for new subscription or deletion or rename or disabled etc. Currently we have to manually managing any subscription addition on portal.
This is badly needed for new users as they are getting in they will register lot of subscriptions and resources.4 votes -

The documentation for the metrics in Azure need to be documented in a much better way as it currently is close to non-existant.
Documentation is desperately needed for the metrics in Azure. For example, the Response time avg graphs in Metrics, Performance, Live Metrics, etc.
I would like to know exactly where they start to measure and when the measurement ends.

1 sms/5 minute limit needs to increased/removed for user friendliness in services.
In case of VM restart alerts,The 1 SMS / 5 minute limit needs to be increased/removed in order for the service to be useful.
What is the reason behind this limit?4 votesWhen we initially shipped this feature the rate limiting was 1 SMS / 1 minute. Customer feedback was that 1 SMS was enough to alert the user that they need to log into the portal to investigate what’s going on. The other SMS were just noise.
We have to have a rate limit in place for telecommunications regulatory reasons. A lot of countries regulate how many SMS may be sent to a particular phone number per-minute. If a sender exceeds that limit wireless carriers will blacklist the sender.

Have monitoring at an instance level for virtual machine scale sets
Right now monitoring for Azure VM Scale Sets is limited to aggregate values. It would be great to be able to see instance level metrics like CPU, RAM, etc.
The current workaround is to use a third party tool like new relic for this, but it would be good to have as a native feature4 votes -
Single alert for all App Service Plans - CPU Metric
We have many app service plans in our subscription. Instead of creating an alert rule per service plan we would like to create a single alert to monitor CPU usage on all service plans.
Thank you
