Azure Monitor
Azure Monitor Action Groups enable you to configure how to receive notifications when an Azure Monitor Alert is triggered.

setup individual disk drive low free space alert on subscription level
The existing Metrics function only can trigger alert when overall disk drive space is low, but cannot monitoring and trigger alert when disk space running out when occurred in single drive space.
Classic alert can do the individual drive monitoring but needed to re-config & setup it "per drive" on each machine repeatedly & hard to manage, it cannot do that by subscription or resource group level for bulk management.
So would like to have this missing function "drive level free space monitoring" on Metrics.

Configure Network Performance Monitor with Powershell / API
I have a large number of services I would like to monitor with NPM, and using the web GUI will be very tedious to enter (and manage) them all.

Enable logging of all service bus metrics from diagnostic logging
We recently enabled diagnostic logging in Azure Service Bus. While there are over a dozen metrics that are collected (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/metrics-supported#microsoftservicebusnamespaces), only a few (IncomingRequests, IncomingMessages, OutgoingMessages) are exported when streaming to either a storage account or event hub. Per MS Premier Support, the other metrics are currently not supported.
Add support for streaming of all metrics from Azure Service Bus. This will make logging and monitoring of service buses much more effective.

Azure Alerts - More Parameters for Webhook JSON Payload
In log alerts, there's a fixed list of parameters defined for Webhook JSON payload.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/alerts-log-webhook#sample-payloads
Can Azure add more parameters to it from search results?
For example: Caller (user who triggered the alert), App/Resource name (for which the alert was triggered), etc.20 votesThanks for the valid suggestion. Custom logs via azure cli
Custom logs can be set up through the portal GUI or some roundabout methods building custom APIs. It would be great to be able to do this through the azure cli so it can be scripted/automated.

Adaptive application control - automatically include Azure Monitoring exe's
Adaptive application control seems like a good way of "auditing" unwanted programs from running on your VM.
Can you add a feature to be able to exclude the Azure Monitoring (health and diagnostic checks) and even VSTS-agents ?
Adding each individual path to the "policy extension" list is not efficient.15 votesThanks for the valid suggestion. Your feedback is now open for the user community to upvote & comment on. Add an option for a demo of service health alert
Currently, there is no demo option for service health alerts, and an user can receive alerts only when an actual incident occurs. However, some customers would like to check if the alert works properly before configuring it in a production environment. Therefore, it would be great if the user could fire a service helth alert as a test.

Can we please have the database size shown on azure dashboard?
Can the database sizes be displayed on the DTU percentage graphs on Azure dashboards, as it will be very helpful to our monitoring? like the attached picture. Thanks.

Make it possible to modify automatically generated VM Insights alerts.
The new VM Insights experience is great, and fills a void in VM monitoring. Now we can finally get an overview of full disk etc.
We would like to modify or add the alertrule for these alerts to get notified on Teams/Webhook/mail etc.

Azure Quotas API/cmdlet
Monitor the limit and current use of Azure services using API or cmdlet (currently only available for compute, storage and networking resources using Get-AzVMUsage, Get-AZStorageUsage and Get-AzNetworkUsage) in order to generate alerts before reaching the limit of use / quota

Direct integration with Slack apps
The suggested integration with Slack is requires an 'API connection' in Azure.
Slack's recommended way of integrating is via an application which exposes a web hook URL.
https://api.slack.com/start/overview
Azure DevOps already supports integration directly with such an app (we already have this working). The suggested use of a Logic App requires an additional resource definition in Azure. I'd much prefer to manage my apps in Slack and then just add a web hook as a secret to a key vault.
Rather than having to define a logic app to define the mapping between Azure common schema and Slacks schema there…

Microsoft-Windows Diagnostic-Performance
We want to monitor the health of our workstations using Azure Monitor. One of the most important metric to start with is the boot time that resides in the event log. Currently Azure Monitor does not collect the event log named "Microsoft-Windows Diagnostic-Performance".
Can you please add this event log in Azure Monitor?

Sort the list of templates in an action group in combination with the ITSM Connector
When you add an ITSM Connector action to an action group you have to select a template for an incident workitem. This list of templates is not sorted and there is also not an option to filter. With sometimes hundreds of templates this is an absolute nightmare. Start by sorting the list of templates. Adding an option to filter as well would be a great addition.

Full transparency when VMs are throttled
Please allow us to learn when Azure decides to throttle disk/CPU resources. You already have the data. I'm just asking that you share it with the customer so we can build alerts based on that data. Your suggested solution of asking each user to run performance-monitoring services within the client to monitor disk throughput/CPU usage is straight from the Department of Redundancy Department.

Azure Monitor dashboards created from Analytics queries are not auto-refreshed
Created visualizations using Application Insights/Log Analytics (KQL), and has pinned them to the dashboard in Azure portal. The dashboard however does not provide any mechanism to set auto-refresh interval and hence customer has to manually click the refresh icons each time on each visualization.

Heartbeat Metrics Alert to pass Computer Resource ID
Currently there is no heartbeat metrics alert available for VM to pass resource ID. Most of the customers are being looked for this solution to implement in Heartbeat Metrics alert.
If Microsoft enable this option that would help to customer to get Resource ID in the Heartbeat metrics Alert.
please take this request as Priority as per customer Feedback and do the needful at the earliest..
