Today (or in fact since yesterday evening) I am experiencing issues as well. In 2018 there was a migrations from the Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key header to x-ms-client-id But as of today/yesterday the x-ms-client-id does not work and what does work is supplying the Primary key as querystring subscription-key= value! Previously we were notified months before the change. What has gone wrong the day before it just worked and otday Nope. Luckily we wre also using api management so I could change the policy rewrite rule there so customer issues were quickly resolved.
The Docs page (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-maps/azure-maps-authentication) is also very scarse about explaining how Shared Access Key authentication works I cannot find any info about the x-ms-client-id except where it says you should enter the clientID but I have the Primary key in there and that worked for months (since 2018)
Has something changed, or did I still used some legacy method that has been removed now.!
Can you provide more details, or ask this question on the [developer forums](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/azure-maps), or contact Azure support? Active directory works with Azure Maps and many applications are using these two things together.
