Database diagrams on new release 18 not work
I installed SSMS 18.0 and cannot find Database diagrams folder. It is just missing. Where is the problem?

We definitely need database diagrams somewhere in the toolchain. It's OK if it is moved from SSMS to SSDT but it's not OK if it's removed altogether.
please improve it, not remove it.

a feedback from sql server team about this would be very interresting. also the thoughts behind the fact, that the debugging functionality is also removed. might be, in the next releases some other features will be removed, argumented by less usage. would be interresting, wich feature this will be
Any recommendations on what to use instead?
Makes it really difficult to visualize a Database that you didn't design.
I would like to have Database Diagrams again!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah agree MS has rocks in there head, when you start to remove useful features Why would you consider doing an Update, might as well call them Roll Backs !, I for one will not be updating any MS products any more with out first looking at the Deprecated Features
It won't be long before MS release notes are Just Deprecated Features , Well Done MS !

For the last ten years, Microsoft has been deprecating there most powerful and popular tools. Starting with Silverlight, and Visual Studio interface display, the development tools set has been slowly evaporating. Eventually, we'll have nothing left but notepad with options to add third party open source tools. It's almost as if they are deliberately trying to chloroform the company.
At any rate, SSMS Database Diagrams has been officially deprecated in SSMS 18:
I have a monster database, that has 1151 tables - I would challenge anyone at MS, to commit to memory, the table relationships in their entirety. Personally I prefer diagrams. If MS continue to deprecate useful features, maybe we should deprecate MS.

I was hoping that MS would improve it, not remove it. *******, Microsoft! Stop deprecating/removing stuff.
Please!!!! please put it back.... we work with it on a daily basis
Please add diagrams back into SSMS. I loved designing tables and their relations in diagram mode. It should be natively supported, I shouldn't have to turn to a 3rd party app to do this.

put diagrams back in, we use them and need them for work on relations!

it is removed! https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/sql-server-management-studio-changelog-ssms?view=sql-server-2017 --> see the end of the release notes.
i can absolutely not understand this. which feature will replace the missing diagram --> simple sql? nice and cool, but not really helpful. do we need in future 3th party tools for digramms and for debugging? horrible situation with the new 18.0 ssms --> hopefully ms will rethink this stuff and put it again into ssms
