SSMS 17.x - database attach not displaying secondary files

In SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Attach Databases wizard, after some secondary file was renamed:
- versions before 17.x - displays "Not Found" for each file having different path/name than recorded in MDF
- versions 17.x - displays no row for each file having different path/name than recorded in MDF

This is still broken in 2018.1, I had to restore a database with 35 secondary files using Management Studio 2014.

I've had to resort to writing out the RAW SQL because of this new bug, here's the work around syntax:
    CREATE DATABASE DatabaseName ON
    ( FILENAME = N'D:\SQLData\DatabaseFilenameNameMDF.mdf' ),
    ( FILENAME = N'D:\SQLData\DatabaseFilenameNameLDF.ldf' )
    FOR ATTACH

how long does it take to fix this bug which occurred in SSMS 17 - any older version of SSMS allow to search for missing files
