Could you please check of you have a file MsDtsSrvrUtil.dll in folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn?
Also, if the file does exist – what is its version?

Yes, the file is there. Version is 2005.90.2047.0 with timestamp 4/14/2006 10:00am.

Could you please try to start the service again and check if you still get the error specified in repro, or just ‘service did not respond in a timely fashion’ message?
<=-=Apr 27 2006 7:56AM=-=>
Tried , just got ‘service did not respond in a timely fashion’ message this time.

Correction: I have this issue on two servers. After restarting SSIS, one just got ‘service did not respond in a timely fashion’ message this time and I fixed it by disabling certificate checking suggested in FDBK48958. The other still got 260 error in app log as listed in actual results.

To confirm: on machines where you get “Error: Method ‘GetVersionInfo’ in type ‘Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Server.DtsServer’ from assembly ‘MsDtsSrvr, Version=126.96.36.199, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91’ does not have an implementation.” – does the file MsDtsSrvrUtil.dll exist in folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn? Also, if the file does exist – what is its version?
<=-=Apr 27 2006 1:46PM=-=>
Yes, the file is there. Version is 2005.90.2047.0 with timestamp 4/14/2006 10:00am, same as on other servers.
It doesn’t solve my problem, still get same error as listed in Actual Results when start SSIS.

Could you please check if MsDtsSrvr.exe in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn has version 9.0.2047.0?
Did you have pre-RTMCTP builds on this machine. Have the SP1 setup completed without errors?
P.S. We’ve never seen this problem, and this seems like corrupted setup. You may need to contact Product Support Services, and I not sure we will be able to diagnose this problem via bug feedback.

Checked MsDtsSrvr.exe version, it’s 9.0.2047.0. The machine had pre-RTMCTP builds on it, but cleaned up before installing RTM version and SSIS worked in RTM version. Didn’t get any error during sp1 installtion.
