Total cost for a resource
I dont know how exactly a REAL Virtual Machine Costs to me because i was not able to see total cost for a resource. It would be marvelous if we can see the historical "aggregated/grouped" costs of a virtual machine in i.e virtual machine settings.
I agree. I seems deliberately opaque given the granularity they have on costs. I created a VM and added an application, actually to see how much it would cost and do some tests, but I although I have now deleted it, I am still getting small daily charges for who knows what. Any henp on how to find out and what I can do about this would be gratefully appreciated.

This would be really good when building a new VM as well, currently you just see the basic cost of the VM, would be good to see the REAL total cost for the VM unit including licences (esp. SQL Server) and Disks attached to VM.
Would be great is the Costs report could drill down to the individual VM and show a breakdown Pie/ Donut chart of all the component parts.
Also add ingress and egress associated with the network aspect of the VM. It would be nice to have a complete cost of a VM, including disk and networking.
Need a way to breakdown the detailed costs for various resources from a "VM perspective", as opposed to a cloud service or instance perspective. Simple example, have a deallocated VM, no compute costs, but need to isolate minor storage cost.
