Domain joined VMs are not visible in New Update Deployment
Only workgroup machines can be updated by this service.
Please allow domain joined machine to be updated too through this solution.

If you are still experiencing problems, refer to the previous steps for re-onboarding your machines.

We fixed the issue for newly onboarded machines. If you are still experiencing this issue, you can either remove your machines from Update Management by following these instructions:
Go to the workspace associated with your Update Management solution (it's linked in the Update Management multi-machine view under "related resources")
Under "general", go to "saved searches"
Click on MicrosoftDefaultComputerGroup with functional alias Updates__MicrosoftDefaultComputerGroup and run the query.
If the VM name is part of the query but not showing up in the results, remove the VM name from the computer group query by returning to the list of saved searches, right clicking on the query and clicking "edit".
Find your VM name within the parentheses shown after "Heartbeat | where Computer in" and remove the vm name
If your VM name is the only one in the Computer field query, leave the quotation marksReturn to the VM and you will be able to re-enroll in update management.

Is this still an issue? Because I have 6 VM's, only one shows up which is standalone. The others are domain joined.

I cant get this feature to work for domain joined machines but I cant find any documentation which explicitly states if it is supported for domain joined machines.

I'm running into the same issue.. Can't seem to find any documentation about it, though.
