Datacenter in Russia
In Russia we have law act about storing some sensitive data(such as personal information , IPR and others) in Russia located Data Centers only.
Does any plans to support it ? Does any plans to create Russia Region in Azure Portal for some services such as WebSites, CDN, Databases e.t.c ?

Thanks for the suggestion. We’re reviewing it.

+1 on Azure data center.
+1 on the mention about demand due to the law.
Even if it is only limited features of azure offering are supported to get the ball rolling. -

Hi MS,
Is there any update on this . We have lot of users from Russia who really wanted to migrate and due to the data center unavailability we are not able to proceed.
Thanks

It is a stupid law, but never the less, do we have a possibility to store personal data in Russia somehow?

Looking forward to it. Even though having just a CDN node would be better than nothing.
