Multiple target resources
Currently there is possibility to choose only one and existed target resource per alert. It would be very handy if I can specify multiple resource of the same type and also apply it for non-existed resource that will be automatically applied after resource is created.

Hi there. I would say it would be nice to extend this feature to other types such as Function Apps, Logic Apps, Batch Jobs, etc. E.g. we want to receive an alert for any execution failure in the Logic Apps, but we have many. So it would be nice to create a single alert rule for this, instead of one alert rule for each Logic App.

Yes, sure VMs are exception. There is missing same functionality for Storage Account, Public IP Address especially for any resources that have metrics signals.

Hi Martin,
This is currently supported for virtual machines.
See https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/blog/monitor-at-scale-in-azure-monitor-with-multi-resource-metric-alerts/. Do you have any other resource types you would like to see this for?
