  1. Support Ctrl+c to <break> command execution

Seems like there is no way to currently break command execution.

For example instead of Get, I accidentally performed:
    New-AzureRmADServicePrincipal

The above causes PowerShell to prompt for ApplicationId. At this point I realized the mistake, but there is no way to abort the command.

Pressing enter, asks for the ApplicationId again, and Ctrl+c is currently not handled. (Tested not to work under both Chrome and Edge). The only current solution is to restart the shell.

Please add support for Ctrl-c to interrupt the current command.

  2. Enter-PSSession and Invoke-Command to an AzureRMVM

It would be great to have the option to invoke commands and enter an interactive session into a VM using PowerShell remoting from the cloud shell.

  6. CTRL+C breaks a PowerShell Cloud Shell session

    This is tested in Edge.

When I run a long-running PowerShell command and press CTRL+C to stop it, it breaks a session and "Cloud Shell timed out" message pops up, so I need to reconnect.

That doesn't happen if I open Bash session, run pwsh, run a long-running command and press CTRL+C.

  9. Why is the shell time, 10:17, not matching my local time, 11:17?

Get-Date in shell shows 10:17 AM but my local time is 11:17.

I am in Lisbon/London time zone and storage is in West Europe (The Netherlands).

I would prefer to have shell time set to local time.

    Many thanks.

  10. Enter-AzureRmVm fails

Use of the command to remote into a domain in Azure RM is failing due to a missing command:

  14. Copy / Paste is a basic function and not working...at least today. It's a long, long way from Visual Studio/Code.

Using the browser like this for editing PowerShell is really not worth the effort by the Product Team. It's so far from Visual Studio/Code .... and when you can't even get copy/paste to work...

  16. simulated azure powershell and cli environments for documentation

Can we have a simulated environment to give a sense of how azure powershell or CLI commands works? The use of documentation will get more effective with this feature. Currently, it depend on subscription for functionality.

  17. Full screen without asking and very long start time PowerShell scripting

This happens in Powershell but sometimes also in Bash. Starting up a script window always start in Bash. Why can't it remember my preferences?
next to that when I switch to PowerShell it takes very long to start the PowerShell module AND it takes all of my Internet Explorer window and it stays black. If I choose the X it closes my tab and if I go back it didn't do anything.

  18. SSH Session Via Azure Cloud Shell keeps Timing out - Making working on our environment (Linux) without a Site to Site VPN a nightmare.

SSH is blocked by corporate Firewalls. Site to Site VPN to environment is a long road ahead.

Cloud Shell is the only life saver - however it keeps timing out.
    -
Why is there no option to increase the time out period for SSH session through CloudShell to our servers - something my company is Paying for?
    -
Why cannot there be a Browser extension or some sort of Browser based App where we could stay logged on like we would do on a Putty Console Session?

  19. Fix/Increase CloudShell Timeout

Please increase the actual timeout for cloud shell to at least what you state (20 minutes). Honestly it takes me longer to log into a PS Cloud Shell than it does to time out, and I don't quite understand that. /rant

Ok so here's the issue. I have a long running process I've attempted to run twice (az image create). It's failed both times because I got "Cloud Shell timed out" with the description of "Cloud Shell has been idle for 20 minutes or you have manually exited. Would you like to reconnect?" problem is that it has been idle…

  20. sqlcmd - cannot authentic as an AAD Account to a Azure SQL Database

I will highlight what can and can't be done as of today (11/9/2017):
    1. I can use "sqlcmd -S <databaseServerName>.database.windows.net -d <databaseName> -U <sqlAuthAccount>" (without the quotes) to authenticate to an Azure SQL Database.

    1. I cannot use SQLCMD -S -d -E, as the user shows up as "user manager\containeradministrator" when I run whoami, and this has no corresponding Owner user on the Azure SQL Database database server object.

    2. SQLCMD -S -d -G does not allow me to sign in with my AAD account

    (error shows up as follows:
Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft ODBC Driver 13 for SQL Server : SQL Server…
