  9. Adding subnet via powershell under new AZ module.

    Hello,

    I am trying to add subnet under VNET using cmd: New-AzVirtualNetworkSubnetConfig . This cmd doesn't take input for Virtual network like that in Add-AzureRmVirtualNetworkSubnetConfig.

    I had posted question to Forum too.

  12. Enter-AzVM be made available for VM's without Public IP

    Enter-AzVM should work on a an Azure VM without Public IP and on a VM created thru ASR replication.

  14. Interface is obsolete.

    Interface to Azure set up is quite primitive. Command level response is quite old style I was using 20 years ago. We need a new Graphic interface. The command entered should not require typing it multiple times.

  15. Create a container

    When I run the following command:

    Run the following az container create command to start a container instance.

    Azure CLI

    az container create \
    --resource-group a3a83964-86f3-4de1-8bd8-115b6d6f3a2e \
    --name mycontainer \
    --image microsoft/aci-helloworld \
    --ports 80 \
    --dns-name-label $DNSNAMELABEL \
    --location eastus

    I get the following error:

  17. Deploy images from Azure Container Registry

    Enable the registry admin account

    In this exercise, we will enable the registry admin account and use it to deploy your image to an Azure Container Instance from the command line.

    Run the following commands to enable the admin account on your registry and retrieve its username and password.

    Azure CLI

    az acr update -n $ACRNAME --admin-enabled true
    az acr credential show --name $ACR
    NAME

    The output is similar to below. Take note of the username and the value for password.

    output

    {

    "passwords": [

    {

    "name": "password",
    "value": "aaaaa"
    },
    {
    "name": "password2",
    "value": "bbbbb"
    }

    ],
    "username":…

  18. Enable-AzVMPSRemoting silently fails targetting a Linux VM

    If a target Linux VM is different than Ubuntu 18.04, Enable-AzVMPSRemoting silently fails to install PowerShell Core. The reason is the hard-coded URL for a PowerShell Core package:
    sudo wget -q https://packages.microsoft.com/config/ubuntu/18.04/packages-microsoft-prod.deb
