The vendor of the application we are using states in the documentation that the following PostgreSQL server parameter is mandatory:
shared_preload_libraries = pg_stat_statements
It does not seem possible to set this value in Azure Database for PostgreSQL server.
We would like this capability so that we can host this app in Azure.
1. This parameter seems to be only mandatory in the context of "Optimizing your PostgreSQL Database", not for general usage. pg_stat_statements is a debugging/performance tuning tool.
2. You can enable the pg_stat_statements library via the "shared_preload_libraries" config parameter enum and then create the pg_stat_statements extension in order to activate pg_stat_statements in Azure Postgres
