Do you have an idea or suggestion based on your experience with Azure Database for PostgreSQL?

Provide actual memory being used (in GB) in Azure Monitor

Provide actual memory being used (in GB) in Azure Monitor in addition to % memory used. The customer scenario is for the Persona of a QA/Test professional. Actual memory used is much more useful than % used as it related to determining the quality of a product / service. % used is tailored to SRE/Ops persona.

When I create an Azure Database for MySQL, and configure it with 2vCore using “General Purpose”, As our document indicated, I could got “Memory per vCore=5GB” in this price tier, (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/mysql/concepts-pricing-tiers) . But when I query “sys.memory_global_total” in MySQL Workbench, I get the result of total_allocated = 142.38 MiB …

Is that correct to query the total memory with MySQL Workbench? how to explain this gap?
We really need to add "Provide actual memory being used (in GB) in Azure Monitor in addition to % memory used. "
