Azure mobile app

The Azure mobile app (for iOS and Android) allows you to stay connected to your Azure resources –anytime, anywhere. Track the health and status of your resources, keep up with metrics to diagnose and resolve issues with quick actions, and even run commands using Cloud Shell (bash and PowerShell) all from your mobile device.

Have any ideas or feature requests? We would love to hear your feedback! Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter to stay up to date on our latest updates @AzureApp

  1. office 365 subscription

add support for Azure AD on mobile app. Office E5 + EMS E5 and not able to manage the Azure AD on the run, it's a bit frustrating. For Office 365 admins it's a must have feature.

  3. Tree view on home screen

On home screen when 'all resources' option is selected it would be great to group resources by categories-using some tree view instead of basic list. Especially when you have plenty of different resources.

  4. Edit Application Properties

It would be nice to be able to go into my Web/Mobile apps and actually update properties on the fly. For example I may want to set the ASPNETCORE_ENVIRONMENT, or fix a broken or missing setting. I may also want to fix a connection string.

  6. Add friendly labels to properties

The properties are listed at flat level and no sign of label on any property (ex. “ipConfigurations[0] / properties / primary”)

  7. Favorites

Great feature I like it, I was thinking how to create dashboard and I found this. One feedback while adding resources to favorites I don’t get any message except the start is filled with white color, do you think displaying message or redirecting to favorite will be good idea.

  9. Have a link to process explorer site

Untill the feature is available in the mobile app, it would be nice to perhaps use the scmUri in publishing credentials and link to
    https://sitename.scm.azurewebsites.net/processexplorer
so its easy to quickly identify offending processes .

  10. Alerts should show Fired and Resolved times

Currently only one time is shown for alerts. If the status is Resolved, it's not clear which time is shown. Both times are very important to know.

Potentially you could also display an alert active duration (which would be the timespan since it was fired and now / revolved time).

  12. Allow filtering on time range

I need to see more than 1 hour on the graphs. It used to show 24 hours now I only see 1 hour. It would be good to adjust to be able to see trends.

  15. Adjustable and coherent time range in graphics

In the current portal dashboards we can set a given timeframe and see it in all the graphics and counters of the dashboard. It would be useful to have this in the azure app, so that you can focus on a specific time frame

  19. Fix TouchID experience

Switching quickly between the app and another on iOS shouldn’t force another Touch ID authentication immediately. Instead some sliding window say 60 or 360 seconds, preferably configuration driven in settings or policy from AAD.

Awfully annoying to be prompted for touch after screen switch to grab info or data outside
