Would definitely be great to be able to access all the create/configure functionality of the portal. As a scenario, consider my current situation. I've been working on configuring networks, subnets, public IPS, etc tonight, started the NGW build then caught a bus home while it finished. Would be awesome if I could now start deploying VMs so they're ready when I get home.

A common one would be Web/Mobile apps along with a database. For instance I may want to deploy a SaaS solution where I need to deploy a new database, web service and configure the web app from my phone.

Create additional storage might be a common one when you get a full drive that breaks something specific.
