Do the [MAPS] bulk import costs include the storage associated with the imported VMs? (I note the disk sizes reported in the bulk output file)
If not, perhaps you could allow bulk import into the storage field also; otherwise I have hundreds of individual lines to enter...1 vote
No, the MAP import only supports completion of the Compute section. The Storage section in the TCO Calculator is an aggregate storage number across all your VMs. As a workaround, you could sum all of the disk sizes that are reported in the MAP file and enter that into the TCO Calculator.
currently it is not possible to enter the storage size / IOPS requirement for VMs1 vote
This is a good request and we will evaluate. As you can tell, our model is driven by cores/memory requirements alone. Adding IOPS as another driving factor is something we’ll prioritize based on popularity/votes for this feature.
Allow to upload the ARM template for resource group and then ask other attributes like CPU, bandwidth separately2 votes
This is a good suggestion. We will evaluate based on popularity/votes for this feature.
Saying “Input string was not in a correct format. Click here for help.” without at least indicating the row is very poor. Since there is no verbose mode it is impossible to troubleshoot. I know that the file format is correct because when I truncate the file to 1,3 and 5 rows of data it works fine. My file is attached.1 vote
This is a good suggestion. We will evaluate reporting the row number which is causing the import issue.
Will the Bulk Import feature import Cloudamize Data?1 vote
This is a good suggestion. We will investigate the data export options within Cloudamize. If there is a particular file/format you commonly use, please let us know.
Can you be more specific about which cost assumptions need flexibility? We will monitor for your feedback via the comments here.
