URL of monitor the availability of website
When we use monitor the availability of website, insert URL on Azure portal. On the other hand, It seems that the syntax of the URL is not checked.
For example, even if insert "Space" in FQDN of URL, it can be registered to monitor. It is useful to have a function to check the syntax when registering.13 votesThank you for the feedback, we will share this feedback to our team and also this feedback is now open for the user community to upvote & comment on. Clear cached addresses
Twice now we've seen ongoing failures long after a 3rd party sas has failed over to a functioning CDN due to cached addresses in the ping tests. A big red button to clear the cache would allow us to accurately determine if the issue is still potentially effecting customers.

Pass W3C traceparent as part of Url ping availability tests
The url ping tests have operationids but it doesn't look like that id (or any other correlation id) is passed as a header with the tests. Our team has full end-to-end distributed traces in Application Insights already so having this information would enable us to link the availability test as the parent to our service call traces.
Ideally, pass the correlation information according to
https://www.w3.org/TR/trace-context/#traceparent-headerThis would integrate well with strategic industry standards.

Can you add Release annotation icon to Application Insights - Availability graph?
It would be nice to visualize the release/deploy of new env versions in the availability chart. Similar to performance chart and failures chart.

Regular notifications for availability test failure untill acknowledged
At the moment, I see that alert notifications are fired only upon state change. It would be great, if we can have a way to get alert notifications at regular intervals until it's acknowledged or
It helps the engineers not to miss any alerts and make sure every alert is actioned.
This feature can be kept optional to the users, So that it can be enabled only for particular tests.1 voteThanks for your feedback and its now open for the user community to upvote & comment on. Show retrieved http status code for url ping tests
For URL Ping tests, we can configure a specific URL ping test as failure based on the retrieved http status code but we are not seeing the http status code being captured as a dedicated metric. It would be helpful if http status code is captured and available as a dedicated metric so that we can build specific dashboards for visualizing the http status code of the URLs that are monitored via URL Ping test.

When setting a HealthCheck allow the immediate testing of the endpoint in the portal
It would be nice to get feedback that the healthcheck uri is correct when setting the value
