  1. Track SignalR traffic

Right now, SignalR and WebSockets messages are invisible to AI. Worse yet, they count as a really long HTTP request. It would be nice to have a separate diagram in the Live Metrics Stream blade and everywhere else where successful or failed request are being displayed.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. Could you please share about your scenario which would help us to better understand the scope. We do have other feedback request from customers to ignore few parts with in SignalTraffic . https://feedback.azure.com/forums/357324-application-insights/suggestions/8395065-server-response-time-needs-to-ignore-signalr#{toggle_previous_statuses}.

So want to better understand the two requirements and prioritize it accordingly with our existing feature backlog. Please share additional details on your scenario. Thank you

  2. First class support for Service Fabric

While Service Fabric was in preview there was a nuget package for AI in SF, but seems that it has not gone GA with SF. Would love to see health reports from SF in AI, along with monitoring of services/actors.

  3. Support for on-prem

It would be great to use Application Insights for on-premises scenarios as well.

  5. Ability to define rules

I'd love a way to define a rule (similar to Outlook inbox rules) to 1) classify/tag/ignore specific events/exceptions 2) automatically create work items

  6. Configureable timespan in Live Metrics View

Allow the live metrics view period timespan to be configureable by the user. 60 seconds seems to be rather short in some scenarios.

Thanks for the feedback. Your feedback is now open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows us to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and also gives us insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.

  7. servers scroll

Make the Servers box bigger or allow us to adjust its size as trying to view summmary of more than 2 servers becomes very frusytrating in the small scroll box you provide

  8. There needs to be a low-latency log display or API

Like all telemetry, logging currently arrives in the form of searchable data only after a significant lag.

That makes the logging unusable for debugging purposes, which is one of the most important use cases for logging.

There needs to be a way to either view incoming log entries in near real-time or there needs to be an API to get at them at near real time.

Alternatively, it should be possible to redirect the events to a message or even queue in near real time.

At the moment, one has to send logging from one's application twice: once to app…
