Allow enabling Application Insights on Virtual Applications, entirely through the Portal
If App insights are turned on the portal for a given App Service containing Virtual applications, then the App Insights currently don't work ( Live stream shows the app is offline). MS has reported that this is not supported at the present time. But it would be a big help since it is a barrier to porting legacy applications.

I believe it's even worse than just porting legacy applications, unless I'm not understanding some Azure config, which is more than possible. Consider this setup:
One company has multiple web applications running in one app service. They all point to the same domain and use the same SSL cert so that they can be a good web citizen and allow HTTPS traffic. Lastly, one of the web applications (virtual apps inside the app service) uses wildcard domains.
https://www.foo.com/app1 -> AppService1/app1 virtual app
https://www.foo.com/app2 -> AppService1/app2 virtual app
https://bar.foo.com/app3 -> AppService1/app3 virtual app
https://baz.foo.com/app3 -> AppService1/app3 virtual app
AppService1 is a Standard 2 Medium and also set to scale from 2-5 instances as load demands.
If I'm missing something in the config that would allow me to constrain costs, while still allowing the same external access and also configuring Application Insights, let me know. If not, I think this is a pretty big gap.
