New Feature: Support for DocumentDB Change Feed triggers
Sounds like a perfect candidate for Azure Functions:
"A common design pattern in these applications is to track changes made to DocumentDB data, and update materialized views, perform real-time analytics, archive data to cold storage, and trigger notifications on certain events based on these changes. DocumentDB's Change Feed support allows you to build efficient and scalable solutions for each of these patterns."

I'm not sure that this should be considered completed since it doesn't support triggering when a document is deleted. Deletion can be considered a change to the collection.
If that is being tracked somewhere else please let us know so we can monitor the progress of that important part of this feature.

Clarifying Question: Would this feature request allow Azure Functions to be triggered by new items on the change feed (similar to the way that aws lambdas are triggered by new records on dynamo streams)?
