  2. Better Management of Marketplace Downloads

I would like to see a list of what is available on Marketplace and have this compared to what I have already downloaded, so that I can schedule all these images for download at one time, instead of clicking every image in the Add to Marketplace screen. In addition to that it would be really nice to get automatic updates for the images I have already downloaded.

  4. Logic apps availability on Azure stack

When can we expect to have availability of logic apps on azure stack for on-prem deployments?
This would greatly enhance logic apps as Hybrid iPaaS..

  5. System assigned identity for Virtual machines

Currently, only service principals and user logins authenticates with azure stack. There is a growing need for resources especially Virtual machines to access other resources with its own identity.

  6. Please provide a way to quickly gather the MAC address of any VM, PIP, etc within the admin & tenant portals.

Some companies require tracking MAC addresses inside an IPAM system, having a quick way to obtain these would be helpful. I thought there was a way to do so prior to 1903 update? I can do so via PowerShell but its time consuming.

  7. Integrate Azure Stack PaaS Resource Providers like App Service, MySQL, and SQL into the Health RP.

Integrate Azure Stack PaaS Resource Providers like App Service, MySQL, and SQL into the Health RP. Need to be able to track and alert when these RP's certificates are going to expire in one location.

  8. Smaller Azure Stack cluster size - ROBO-type deployments

Azure Stack is a great concept but is still quite large for smaller environments. It would be great if a two-node minimum cluster was achievable for ROBO/manufacturing environments that require local infrastructure where something like IoT Edge does not fit.
Being able to have multiple smaller Azure Stacks centrally managed through a single pane of glass would be awesome.

  9. Constrained VM-sizes in Azure Stack (for VMs with per CPU licensing)

In Microsoft Azure we have the concept of "Contrained VMs" (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/windows/constrained-vcpu) that helps when licensing VMs with "per CPU" applications (lika MS SQL or such).
If it where possible to make these available in Azure Stack it would help to move a traditional VM to a cloudmodel (but still license the SQL installation with "on-prem" licenses (EA, SPLA or otherwise).

D-sizes already exist in Azure Stack so atleast the following sizes should "simple" to implement. :)
    StandardDS11-1v2
    StandardDS12-2v2
    StandardDS12-1v2
    StandardDS13-4v2
    StandardDS13-2v2
    StandardDS14-8v2
    StandardDS14-4v2

    Thanks

  10. Add the ability to deliver messages\announcements to end users (similar to Azure portal).

So Azure ARM Portal sometimes gives you some piece of important information, like that is now GA or this is now Live, etc. Give us the ability to alert\inform end users about stuff

  11. Mechanism to control vCPU to Core subscription ratio

Ability to set the maximum vCPU to physical Core subscription ratio in the Quota for the Compute Service.

Additionally also provide a metric in the Health Provider to report the current level of vCPU to Core subscription ratio for a Scale Unit

  12. Microsoft Bot Framework in Azure Stack or Docker Container pull with access to Direct Line API

As of currently, 9/01/2019, one cannot use Microsoft Bot Framework in a docker environment or Azure Stack environment. This means that even though LUIS is has the ability to be deployed in a docker container a major associated use case, Microsoft Bot Framework w/ direct line api, is not available to use on-premise in a fully dockerized solution.

A service, such as the MBF, would be vitally important to have the ability to have low latency and high throughput to match with the other cognitive services in which it would use.

  13. Ability to Setup soem Quota by VM Model

There is different VM Model on Azure Stack (for consistency purpose), we would like to get the ability to not just setup Quota in term of Core (global) but by VM Model Family. As example :
    Standard Ax : 16 core
    Standard Dx : 8 Core

  14. VM failback from Azure to Azure Stack in Azure Site Recovery

When Azure site recovery is enabled to replicate VMs from Azurestack to Azure, and the VMs are failed iver to azure. it's impossible to failback to Azure Stack. It wil be great to have this feature

  15. SQL Resource Provider: Allow default database permissions to be customized at the SKU level

The default permission for any SQL Login added at the time a database is provisioned through the SQL Resource Provider for Azure Stack is DBO.

This is not permittable for enterprises subject to regulatory compliance requirements to ensure least rights applicable are deployed (SOX compliance, PCI, etc.)

Allowing the permissions to be customizable at the SKU level allows the SQL Resource Provider operator to accommodate more restrictive default permission deployment requirements for servers offered through the resource provider.

  16. Azure Stack Metering: Provide memory usage of VMs e.g. 'virtual RAM hours' per tenant/subscription.

Service Provider with Azure Stack is thinking about a pricing model with Memory / Memory Bursting ("X RAM for x hours"). He would love to get the counters from azure stack API.

  17. Display Tenant vCPU Usage vs. Total Cores in Admin Portal

As one of the most Important Chargeback Criteria is vCPU, we need a way to at least Monitor Consumption of vCPU and put this in Ratio with pCores.
The total vCPU Consumption needs to be displayed vwitha Gauche on the Admin Dashboard in Capacity

  18. Introduce B-series on Azure Stack

For customers that just want to modernize their infrastructure it is a very simple to start with IaaS. For older server then B-series is extreamly valuable.
As a CSP we can create an offer to the end customer and a economic deal to get the same kind of pricing as in Azure. But we loose money on that.
If we had the possibilty to provision B-series on Azure Stack then we could move customers faster from an traditional hosting environment to a modern cloud platform. This is extra important with the end of life of SQL 2008 and Windows 2008,…

  19. Support ADLS Gen2 on Azure Stack

We are developing data solutions targeting both Azure and Azure Stack. We really want to use ADLS Gen2's hierarchical namespace and advanced security feature. However, they are not supported on Azure Stack which leads us to use suboptimum technology choice - use Gen1 blob storage. So please support ADLS Gen 2 on Azure Stack. As I understand some other Azure services also depends on ADLS Gen2, so this is a precondition to bringing those services to Azure Stack

  20. Move resources between resource groups

Ability to move resources or VM to another Azure subscription or resource group still not available in Azure Stack. Please consider this feature in next update. Thanks.
