  2. Azure Stack Meter for VPN SKU

For Multi-Tenant use uf Azure Stacks we use the meters to calculate and invoice end customers. Unfortunately there is no VPN SKU meter. So we don't know which customer is using which (or any) VPN SKU on Azure Stack. We need to have that meter to invoice correctly.

  3. VNET to VNET communication in Azure Stack

It'll be great if VNET to VNET communication can be configured in Azure Stack across 2 different Subscription EX: VNET created in Admin Portal should communicate with VNET in Tenant Portal this will be useful for taking Backup of Tenant Workloads from a centralized console.

  4. Inconsistency in Azure Stack Documentation

There may be an error in the Azure Stack documentation. In the section on différences between Identity management with AAD or ADFS, the table states that you CANNOT create service principals using secrets in ADFS (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-stack/azure-stack-identity-architecture).

Yet in the documentation on how to create service principals, it states that you CAN create service principals using secrets in ADFS (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-stack/azure-stack-create-service-principals).

    Which one is right?

  6. Switching tenant directory in the tenant portal

I have a sugestion regarding multitenant Azure Stack
Will switching tenant directory in the tenant portal be available soon or at all?
The directory filter button in the top right corner of the tenant portal would suggest that one would be able to switch tenant directory and subscriptions

Scenario adam@contso.onmicrosoft.com has a user subscription on Azure Stack and can login to the tenant portal and work with Azure Stack.
adam@contso.onmicrosoft.com user is also invited as a guest user in fabrikam.onmicrosoft.com AAD and has been assigned a subscription via that admin portal to with tenant directory fabrikam.onmicrosoft.com specified,
    or has been…

  8. Introduce B-series on Azure Stack

For customers that just want to modernize their infrastructure it is a very simple to start with IaaS. For older server then B-series is extreamly valuable.
As a CSP we can create an offer to the end customer and a economic deal to get the same kind of pricing as in Azure. But we loose money on that.
If we had the possibilty to provision B-series on Azure Stack then we could move customers faster from an traditional hosting environment to a modern cloud platform. This is extra important with the end of life of SQL 2008 and Windows 2008,…

  10. Support for IPv6 public facing IPs, both static and dynamic on Azure Stack

Azure provides support for IPv6 public facing IPs, both static and dynamic.

Havign equivalent features (IPv6) public facing IPs on Azure Stack (and without changing IPV4 on SDN) will allow us facilities vs ipv4-exhaustion on RIPE and Stack to make evolution on DC to support IPv6 on Regional Access Gateway, Router, Firewall around Stack to make it work.

  11. Downloads of Previous ASDK Builds

I had a working build of 1811 and redeployed 1901 twice with fails of both. I'd like to be able to download the 1811 build to get server working again.

  13. Make the default Dashboard undeletable

When we deploy we get a default Dashboard. What ever we do in editing the Dashboard there should be a an option to go to default settings always. That is the normal way right? In any case the user should not have an option to shoot themselves in the leg. The Default Dashboard should never be deletable.

  14. Export function as CSV or Excel format file on Powershell Deployment worksheet

Once Excel Deployment Worksheet retires, we only use powershell deployment worksheet. I want to save "Subnet Summary" and "IP address Usage" information as a CSV or Excel file to review easily.
If powershell worksheet has export function as CSV or Excel format, we can share IP Subnet information easily.

  15. Cumulative Updates to the Stack

At this point updating an Integrated Stack is very cumbersome. It takes days to finish updating the stack. It adds to the woes that we cant skip an update to jump to the most current update level. We should consider being able to skip and install the most recent update. Stack anyways wipes and reloads the complete infra layer. It is more difficult to understand why this is not possible.

  17. Ability to Setup soem Quota by VM Model

There is different VM Model on Azure Stack (for consistency purpose), we would like to get the ability to not just setup Quota in term of Core (global) but by VM Model Family. As example :
    Standard Ax : 16 core
    Standard Dx : 8 Core

  18. SQL IaaS Extension Patching - Use WSUS

The SQL IaaS Extension enables auto patching of SQL workloads on Azure Stack, however there is no way to configure this to use a local source to pull those updates, so it can't work in a disconnected scenario.

It'd be great to have the ability to configure the patch source for the SQL IaaS Extension to pull from a local WSUS server or similar, rather than having to go out to the internet.

  19. Feedback

We ran through this process and Microsoft and the partner did a great job in estimating and validate the business case. Eventually we decided otherwise, but the process is stable and solid.

  20. Virtual Network Service Endpoints on Azure Stack

Get Virtual Network (VNet) service endpoints on Azure Stack to allow us to extend virtual network private address space and the identity of our VNet to the Azure Stack services (PaaS such App Service, SQL (PaaS), Mysql (PaaS), Kubenetes, Event Hub,, over a direct connection.
