  1. Microsoft Bot Framework in Azure Stack or Docker Container pull with access to Direct Line API

As of currently, 9/01/2019, one cannot use Microsoft Bot Framework in a docker environment or Azure Stack environment. This means that even though LUIS is has the ability to be deployed in a docker container a major associated use case, Microsoft Bot Framework w/ direct line api, is not available to use on-premise in a fully dockerized solution.

A service, such as the MBF, would be vitally important to have the ability to have low latency and high throughput to match with the other cognitive services in which it would use.

  3. Expose stack fqdn to tenant VM's.

Currently a VM deployed on stack cannot identify the base url for the stack it is hosted on which means it cannot then automatically interact with the stack, it needs to be "told" by some means before it can do anything.

It would seem relatively easy for the agent to be given the address on deployment so that it was then recoverable by processes on the tenant VM in order to initiate interactions (downloading blobs for example).

  6. Boot diagnostics not stopping after 5 minutes

Give users the option to use the old never stopping Boot Diagnostics or limit it to custom time.

  7. Expose Stack Version to User of Portal

According to docs (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure-stack/operator/azure-stack-powershell-install) there are specific requirements for Powershell on local machine, depending on the version of Azure Stack. But Stack Version is not exposed to User (at least I could not find it - no "Properties" link) - required contacting the Stack operator - wasting their time and mine.

  8. Retrieve the value of the fields associated to work item in Azure devOps using Rest API

We are trying to Migrate the Entity(EPIC, feature, user story & Bug) from another tools(TP,QC,JIRA) to Azure devOps using Azure devops Rest API(/_apis/wit/fields?api-version=4.1) as well Client.

But Rest API returning fields details but not field value and it will be good if Rest API will return field value as well because we can map field as well as value to another tool while migration.

  9. Move resources between resource groups

Ability to move resources or VM to another Azure subscription or resource group still not available in Azure Stack. Please consider this feature in next update. Thanks.

  10. Nested Virtualization

Stack includes several F*s_v2 machines with hyper-threading. Still, however, nested virtualization is not enabled. Having access to nested virtualization in Azure Stack would allow the use of third party tools that depend on nested virtualization. These tools are an important part of the development/test/deployment cycle.

  11. SQL Resource Provider: Allow default database permissions to be customized at the SKU level

The default permission for any SQL Login added at the time a database is provisioned through the SQL Resource Provider for Azure Stack is DBO.

This is not permittable for enterprises subject to regulatory compliance requirements to ensure least rights applicable are deployed (SOX compliance, PCI, etc.)

Allowing the permissions to be customizable at the SKU level allows the SQL Resource Provider operator to accommodate more restrictive default permission deployment requirements for servers offered through the resource provider.

  12. SQL Resource Provider: Add support for Active Directory Global Groups when provisioning a SQL RP database

Add support for Active Directory Global Groups when provisioning a SQL Resource Provider database in Windows Azure Stack.

Currently, only a SQL Login can be specified.

The SQL Resource Provider for Azure Pack allowed either a SQL Login or a Windows Active Directory Global Group to be added.

Additional functionality to configure only Active Directory Global Groups to be provisioned instead of a SQL Login at the SKU level would be useful for enterprises that do not permit SQL Logins as a matter of regulatory compliance.

  13. Implement alerting and monitoring for web hooks in Azure DevOps

I would like to be able to report on the web hook functionality in Azure DevOps (i.e. when a webhook has changed to a disabled state or when errors are encountered while data is being processed)

  15. Support ADLS Gen2 on Azure Stack

We are developing data solutions targeting both Azure and Azure Stack. We really want to use ADLS Gen2's hierarchical namespace and advanced security feature. However, they are not supported on Azure Stack which leads us to use suboptimum technology choice - use Gen1 blob storage. So please support ADLS Gen 2 on Azure Stack. As I understand some other Azure services also depends on ADLS Gen2, so this is a precondition to bringing those services to Azure Stack

  16. FHIR API and Server for Azure Stack

The healthcare industry is rapidly transforming health data to the emerging standard of FHIR® (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources). FHIR enables a robust, extensible data model with standardized semantics and data exchange that enables all systems using FHIR to work together. Transforming your data to FHIR allows you to quickly connect existing data sources such as the electronic health record systems or research databases. FHIR also enables the rapid exchange of data in modern implementations of mobile and web development. Most importantly, FHIR can simplify data ingestion and accelerate development with analytics and machine learning tools.

  17. Sort Syndication List

Allow Syndication List (while 'Adding from Azure') to be sorted based on Name or Publisher. Also, please make the publisher name unique or at least sortable. For example, there are 6 'Microsoft' entries in the publisher list.

  18. Integrate Azure Stack PaaS Resource Providers like App Service, MySQL, and SQL into the Health RP.

Integrate Azure Stack PaaS Resource Providers like App Service, MySQL, and SQL into the Health RP. Need to be able to track and alert when these RP's certificates are going to expire in one location.

  19. Expose adminportal dns zone in "DNS Zones"

When adminportal domain zone is delegated to azure stack there is no way for an operator to add records (for example adding .txt when validating SSL certificates) without placing a ticket to Microsoft support. Why not just expose the dns zone in the "DNS zones" part of adminportal and let administrators configure part of the zone file (you can grey out all the non-configurable names such as portal/adminportal and so on).

  20. Add newer SKU supported by Azure (VpnGw1, VpnGw2, and VpnGw3.)

Azure Stack does not support a resize of SKUs between the supported legacy SKUs. Similarly, Azure Stack does not support a resize from a supported legacy SKU (Basic, Standard, and HighPerformance) to a newer SKU supported by Azure (VpnGw1, VpnGw2, and VpnGw3.)’
