Support N-series in Azure Stack for GPU based payloads
Please add the support of N-series virtual machine in Azure Stack, in order to allow GPU intensive payload opportunities (such as 3D engineering or Laser scans applications)

It would be good if you can detail whether you need NC or NV series?
Thanks

AzureStack Virtual Machine Console Access
I liked the Serial Console feature on the Azure Portal, but was very disappointed to find that i cannot do the same on the Azure Stack Development Kit. Is this available on Azure Stack but needs to be enabled somehow or is it planned for a future release?

Azure Container Services
Implement Azure Container Services on Azure Stack. It would be nice to have this available when Azure Stack ships.

View for customer Azure Stack VMs
We need a few where we can see all the VMs for all our customers via Azure Stack Admin portal. There are such views networks and storage accounts for example and I cannot understand why there is not such view for VMs. From that view we do not want to control the VMs like Start and Stop but we would want to see the size of the vm, the number of disks, the network adapters, their state, the network security groups, etc. Basically all the configurations of the VMs. This information also needs to be available in the Admin ARM…

Nested Virtualization
Stack includes several F*s_v2 machines with hyper-threading. Still, however, nested virtualization is not enabled. Having access to nested virtualization in Azure Stack would allow the use of third party tools that depend on nested virtualization. These tools are an important part of the development/test/deployment cycle.

Provide VM size data in invoice Reconcile File
Please provide the size of the VM in the invoice reconcile file. This is needed so we can charge differently for different series just like it is in Azure. Having that data only in usage API is not useful for us as we directly use the reconcile file. Also our customers will be able to see that data and see how much they've spend for each size.

Ability to restrict compute sizes available to users
It would be very beneficial to have the ability to restrict what compute sizes are available to users via offers much like you have the ability to do in Azure Dev/Test Labs. as we are working with a restricted set of compute capacity it would allow admins to have more granular control.

Means to get more regular Windows defender update definitions for disconnected azure stack.
Disconnected azure stack, can only obtain windows defender definition updates once a month. This pose a high security concern that disconnected azure stack are not able to mitigate new vulnerabilities promptly. We need a channel or means to update defender definitions for disconnected azure sack.

marketplace
Marketplace download tool for Disconnected Scenarios
Azure Marketplace syndication is only available to Azure Stack in a connected mode. In a disconnected scenario, it would also be really great to be able to leverage items from Azure Marketplace. Can there be a tool made available so that Azure Stack validated Marketplace items can be downloaded to Azure Stack (disconnected mode) for consumption? :)

System assigned identity for Virtual machines
Currently, only service principals and user logins authenticates with azure stack. There is a growing need for resources especially Virtual machines to access other resources with its own identity.

Constrained VM-sizes in Azure Stack (for VMs with per CPU licensing)
In Microsoft Azure we have the concept of "Contrained VMs" (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/windows/constrained-vcpu) that helps when licensing VMs with "per CPU" applications (lika MS SQL or such).
If it where possible to make these available in Azure Stack it would help to move a traditional VM to a cloudmodel (but still license the SQL installation with "on-prem" licenses (EA, SPLA or otherwise).D-sizes already exist in Azure Stack so atleast the following sizes should "simple" to implement. :)

Mechanism to control vCPU to Core subscription ratio
Ability to set the maximum vCPU to physical Core subscription ratio in the Quota for the Compute Service.
Additionally also provide a metric in the Health Provider to report the current level of vCPU to Core subscription ratio for a Scale Unit
6 votesThe ability to display the metrics is currently under review but we have no current plans to allow controlling the subscription ratio.
Thanks

Azure Stack Metering: Provide memory usage of VMs e.g. 'virtual RAM hours' per tenant/subscription.
Service Provider with Azure Stack is thinking about a pricing model with Memory / Memory Bursting ("X RAM for x hours"). He would love to get the counters from azure stack API.

Introduce B-series on Azure Stack
For customers that just want to modernize their infrastructure it is a very simple to start with IaaS. For older server then B-series is extreamly valuable.
As a CSP we can create an offer to the end customer and a economic deal to get the same kind of pricing as in Azure. But we loose money on that.
If we had the possibilty to provision B-series on Azure Stack then we could move customers faster from an traditional hosting environment to a modern cloud platform. This is extra important with the end of life of SQL 2008 and Windows 2008,…5 votes -
Marketplace Download Options Update
The options for marketplace downloads are starting to lag behind. For example I'm looking for SQL Server 2017 on Windows 2019 to download to a disconnected Stack and it is not available. Can the newer versions of the Microsoft managed marketplace items be made available sooner?
Thanks!

SQL IaaS Extension Patching - Use WSUS
The SQL IaaS Extension enables auto patching of SQL workloads on Azure Stack, however there is no way to configure this to use a local source to pull those updates, so it can't work in a disconnected scenario.
It'd be great to have the ability to configure the patch source for the SQL IaaS Extension to pull from a local WSUS server or similar, rather than having to go out to the internet.
