How can we improve Microsoft Azure Stack Hub?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. Suport monitoring and alet on Azure Stack VPN Gateway

    Supporting monitoring and alert on Azure Stack VPN Gateway, from my checking it is supported in Azure while not supported in Azure Stack yet.

  3. More system utilization widgets of main Azure STack dashboard

    Please consider to give us more system utilization widgets for main Azure Stack dashboard on adminportal. For example vCPU cores currently in use and current vCPU oversubscription, resource consumption by tenant, WebApps roles state

  4. Boot diagnostics not stopping after 5 minutes

    Give users the option to use the old never stopping Boot Diagnostics or limit it to custom time.

  5. Move resources between resource groups

    Ability to move resources or VM to another Azure subscription or resource group still not available in Azure Stack. Please consider this feature in next update. Thanks.

  7. Sort Syndication List

    Allow Syndication List (while 'Adding from Azure') to be sorted based on Name or Publisher. Also, please make the publisher name unique or at least sortable. For example, there are 6 'Microsoft' entries in the publisher list.

  8. Expose adminportal dns zone in "DNS Zones"

    When adminportal domain zone is delegated to azure stack there is no way for an operator to add records (for example adding .txt when validating SSL certificates) without placing a ticket to Microsoft support. Why not just expose the dns zone in the "DNS zones" part of adminportal and let administrators configure part of the zone file (you can grey out all the non-configurable names such as portal/adminportal and so on).

  9. Requests common criteria certification for Azure Stack.

    In order to introduce it in public institutions in most countries, we require the certification of common criteria.

  10. Switching tenant directory in the tenant portal

    I have a sugestion regarding multitenant Azure Stack
    Will switching tenant directory in the tenant portal be available soon or at all?
    The directory filter button in the top right corner of the tenant portal would suggest that one would be able to switch tenant directory and subscriptions

    Scenario adam@contso.onmicrosoft.com has a user subscription on Azure Stack and can login to the tenant portal and work with Azure Stack.
    adam@contso.onmicrosoft.com user is also invited as a guest user in fabrikam.onmicrosoft.com AAD and has been assigned a subscription via that admin portal to with tenant directory fabrikam.onmicrosoft.com specified,

  12. Make the default Dashboard undeletable

    When we deploy we get a default Dashboard. What ever we do in editing the Dashboard there should be a an option to go to default settings always. That is the normal way right? In any case the user should not have an option to shoot themselves in the leg. The Default Dashboard should never be deletable.

  13. Ability to Setup soem Quota by VM Model

    There is different VM Model on Azure Stack (for consistency purpose), we would like to get the ability to not just setup Quota in term of Core (global) but by VM Model Family. As example :
    Standard Ax : 16 core
    Standard Dx : 8 Core

  14. Access Control (IAM) should list Service Principals when adding a new role

    Currently, when adding a new role under Access Control (IAM) only Users are listed for selection. It would be nice to also see Service Principals in the list of users to which a role can be assigned. Currently, you have to paste the name of the Service Principal in order to assign the role and while this works, it is not the most intuitive.

  15. Display Azure Stack Subscription Usage and Quota Value

    Azure Stack User have difficulties to know where they are in term of quota usage, hence, it could be good to get soem improvement on the user portal to display quota located to the subscription and current usage of those quota (as we have on Public Cloud)

  16. Unified Azure Stack portal to administer multiple Scale units and regions

    As each Azure Stack scale unit is a region by itself, it decreases user experience and usability of tenant has to access multiple portals. As such a unified Azure Stack portal that allows administration of multiple scale units and regions is needed.

  18. User Portal: Can View Marketplace Items not yet downloaded to Azure Stack

    Currently, users can only view marketplace items that an administrator has downloaded using the admin portal. Request to add the capability for a user to view available items in Azure Marketplace, even if it has not been downloaded to the marketplace in Azure Stack yet. If the item is not available in Azure Stack marketplace, add the ability for a user to request the item, which triggers a notification to an administrator to download from Azure Marketplace.

  19. Admin Portal: See current ressources deployed in user subscriptions

    Admin Portal -> User Subscriptions
    it would be great if the azure stack administrator could see a tenants resources that have been created in a subscription. No names but quantities and sizes (e.g. vm type) would be great.
