Single pane of glass. Manage Microsoft Azure subscriptions from Microsoft Azure Stack and vice versa
Since Portal and ARM are consistent across clouds it would be awesome if we can manage an Microsoft Azure subscription from Microsoft Azure Stack (preferably add to ARM like a region). And vice versa add a Microsoft Azure Stack region to Microsoft Azure (preferable as a region in ARM for that tenant).

AzureStack Virtual Machine Console Access
I liked the Serial Console feature on the Azure Portal, but was very disappointed to find that i cannot do the same on the Azure Stack Development Kit. Is this available on Azure Stack but needs to be enabled somehow or is it planned for a future release?

Bring Snapshot capability on Azure Stack
Azure Stack is not supporting Snapshot (Disk, Manage Disk, ...)
Out of the box backup capability are very limited (the sole option available consist to deploy an Agent on IaaS Virtual Machine to make some hybrod backup with an Azure Backup solution on the cloud and/or a 3rd party tool, but once again limited to what is "inside" a Virtual Machine + following Agent deployment on VM + interconnection with Backup Server Solution.
Snapshot support on Disk, Data, Storage Account will be a great feature to :
* smooth difference with Public Cloud
* ability to make "snapshot" manually by…83 votes -
Desktop as a Service (DaaS) cloud service for Azure Stack
As a hosting service provider (the majority who will use Azure stack in production) and large enterprise, customers wanted the capability to provide Desktop as a service (DaaS) for Windows Azure Pack. We need this cloud service in Azure Stack for GA.

Ability to support enterprise proxy
In TP2 a transparent proxy only is supported to communicate with Azure. Unfortunately thats no option because of our network security policy. So it prevents to use Azure Stack as a future hybrid Cloud platform. We need the ability that Azure Stack supports enterprise proxy servers with proxy authentication/ssl interception.

ASDK: Extended network connectivity
I like the default ASDK setup that do not need extended network knowledge to get it up and running. That should stay as it is.
At the other hand, more advanced network setups where connectivity outside the ASDK environment can be needed. Some use cases:
In our case we are running a Azure Stack proof-of-concept that includes connectivity to other systems and the internet
Development use case were you are developing / testing your application and the application need existing test systems that are outside the ASDF environment. Think of: enterprise message busses, datawarehouses / databases, integration with cloud services,…

Unified Azure Stack portal to administer multiple Scale units and regions
As each Azure Stack scale unit is a region by itself, it decreases user experience and usability of tenant has to access multiple portals. As such a unified Azure Stack portal that allows administration of multiple scale units and regions is needed.

Methodology or suggestion for Azure Stack SLA calculation
There is ongoing ask from Service Providers to equip them with methodology or guide how to calculate aggregated SLA for Azure Stack installations which these Service Providers are going to operate. It is obvious that there is no direct SLA commitment from Microsoft side for Azure Stack availability thus at least recommendations would be really helpful. Especially having in mind that Microsoft itself has tremendous experience to calculate SLA for its Azure DCs and Cloud Services – which hopefully can be somehow shared with Partner Ecosystem.

Azure Stack User have difficulties to know where they are in term of quota usage, hence, it could be good to get soem improvement on the user portal to display quota located to the subscription and current usage of those quota (as we have on Public Cloud)
