  1. Static Web Apps should allow simulation of /.auth for local debugging

    when using authentication in static web apps (esp. when leveraging /.auth paths in your code, local debugging becomes difficult as this path is only available once deployed.

    it would be great if the vscode addon would provide some simulation option of /.auth out of the box so a developer could test the code locally.

  2. Allow NSGs to be attached to GatewaySubnets

    By being able to attach an NSG with an ANY/ANY rule to a GatewaySubnet, we can capture flow logs on the ingress network from P2S or S2S traffic coming into the Azure Environment. This is useful if you want to see what activity is taking place from a VPN client into azure.

  4. O365 Service Health in Azure Portal

    A way to get O365 Service Health in the azure portal. With the capability to see more and more date in regards to O365 in Azure, I think it would be good to see the Service Health as well.

  5. Azure App Service add support of bi-directional streaming for gRPC-Web

    Currently, gRPC-Web supported by azure App service partially. bi-directional streaming is not supported by Azure App Service. Which is limits usage scenarios.

  7. vwan/vhub: provide the comprehensive information on the virtual HUB portal.

    we can only see the vhub connection state at the moment, but each connection is actually built by 2 VPN tunnels from active-active VPNGw. It would be great if we can list each individual VPN link state on the vhub portal, or from the Azure monitor.

  9. The error text is misleading.

    The following error text appeared during the platform side upgrade.

    Your applicaiton process was restared as Application environment variables changed. can most likely occur due to update in app setting or swap operation.

    This is mistakenly thought to be due to an operation on the customer's side.

    The application process has been resumed because the application environment variables have been changed. This is due to an update or swap operation of the application settings due to an operation performed by the foundation or by the customer. It is likely to occur.

    I would like you to suggest that there may…

  10. Expose subscription admin access in PIM

    Currently, Subscription-level admins aren't exposed in PIM. Appears to be a big blind-spot if they aren't covered for elevation & access review workflows.

  13. Set default database price level to BASIC when VS ASP.NET MVC creates it.

    Actually when i created a database when i was making my learning of when VS ASP.NET MVC the database was set to a price level ELASTIC POOL wich is very expensive (specially for students and people just making a learning of the tool).
    I consither VERY IMPORTANT to Microsft change this default to BASIC.
    And only to be possible to change to a higher price lever manually by the user accesing the Azure server.

  16. Ask for an Ability to reserve Azure WebApp domain name

    Customer was using Azure Web App service as their development and production environment. When development work was completed, the site was shut down but not decommissioned. And because of future enhancements that need to be tested in the DEV environment first, the DEV site has to be brought back online when required. When the site is shut down, an external party is free to register an Azure CloudApp in place of the customer's Azure CloudApp. And while the CNAME record remains in the customer's DNS zone, the customer is “seen” to be hosting another site whenever it is visited by…

  18. Don't require an admin role for ServiceNow user provisioning

    Don't require "admin" role to provision users in ServiceNow. This role gives the Azure app way too many permissions when all it needs to do is manage the users. "user_admin" would be acceptable.

  19. Privatelink for keyvault FQDN displays incorrectly

    The FQDN for keyvault privateLink is displaying incorrectly in the portal. The FQDN for the private link shows *.vaultcore.azure.net, but should only reflect the name of the keyvault, *.vault.azure.net. Other services with private link such as storage show as *.blob.core.windows.net and are resolvable. The privateLink FQDN for keyvault should work the same. Please see the attached images showing an example of the correctly keyvault FQDN shown for the keyvault resource and the incorrect FQDN shown for the private link.

  20. Allow a comment block in Azure Policy

    Allow those writing Azure Policy to document their config files like developers would document code with comments. Simply allow including "comment":{} and ignore it.

    I would like to be able to do something like this:

    "comment":{
    "CreatedOn": "7/30/2020",
    "Purpose": "Block changes that would take the configuration out of a state of compliance with policy XYZ",
    "ItemsBlocked":[
    "Turning off logging",
    "Turning off https",
    "Turning on remote debugging"
    ],
    "PointOfContact": "If you have concerns about this policy please contact the security and compliance team"
    }
