  5. Bring back requiring GA rights to Associate Azure subscription to Azure Active Directory

In the past in order to attach a subscription to given Azure Active Directory tenant, global admin level access was required. This requirement has been lifted. Therefore any user with an existing identity in a give Azure AD, can get their own Azure subscription and attach it to that Azure AD with out any prior approvals. This is a significant issue for enterprise. Please being back the GA level authorisation before a subscription can be attached to AAD.

  7. block access to active directory by default for .edu accounts

I signed up for Azure for students.
Saw I had access to my college's active directory including being able to see all users and PII.
Perhaps microsoft should by default block access to active directory for "free student tier" users that are tied to their schools Azure account and not depend on colleges to know how to set up their domains properly to do so.

Maybe secure by default, no access to the AD page of Azure for students that sign up for free Azure with their college would be the best option here?

I've been locked out of Azure

  9. Get the Active Directory IP address configured in Azure Classic portal via C# API or PowerShell command

In our application, we get the Domain IP address configured in classic portal as an input from user. We need to validate the Domain IP address provided by customer is valid or not.

So if we have any API to get the list of Active Directory IP address configured in Azure Classic portal via C# API or PowerShell command, we can validate the same.

  12. Create a tool to remove the Azure Active Directory from the Server 2019 Image or Upon setting up the new VM place a notice beside the option

When the image of Server 2019 is linked to Azure AD during the initial setup and created the user doesn't have the ability to unlink the Azure AD if they decide to change to Azure Active Directory Services (Domain Controller) because of registry entries on the VM. Create a tool to remove the registry references to free the VM from the Azure AD or on the page during setup of the VM add a message if the user selects to utilize the Azure AD that the option is not able to be reversed.

  15. why can't I delete the active directory

I deleted all items in the account but am left with the one active directory that will not delete. I'm trying to clean it up, so that I can rebuild but it will not allow me to delete the active directory "test".

  16. Please support the use of Azure Public Logic Apps and an on-premise data gateway registered by a GCC-Mid (L2) Azure Active Directory tenant

We are a government customer with a GCC-Mid (L2) Azure Active Directory tenant. That means that it is a GCC tenant that runs on Azure Public infrastructure so that it can provide identity services to Office 365 GCC. We have our Azure Public subscriptions linked to that tenant within https://portal.azure.com/. Everything works fine EXCEPT being able to register an on-premise data gateway within our tenant and allowing our Logic Apps in Azure Public to connect to that on-premise data gateway. This is because the gateway is registered in an Azure Government region so that Power BI GCC…

  17. Azure MFA

I would love to be able to use Azure MFA with ADFS 2016 with external idp. It seems like the only supported way to get MFA is to use Active Directory claims provider trust?

  19. Account Admin should always be a Global Admin in a domain's active directory

We recently went through the process of transitioning our domain subscriptions to our admin assistant by making her our Account Admin.

This was made more difficult because the Account Admin is not automatically added to the active directory of the domain when the domain is transferred to them.

    Steps are:
    (1) log on as DevUser and create a domain on Azure
    (2) as DevUser set up a subscription
    (3) as DevUser transfer subscription to another user AdminUser (change the Account Admin for the subscription to that user).
    (4) as AdminUser, transfer Service Admin back to original user DevUser.
    (5) as…

  20. Users with Azure AD password writeback should be prompted for password reset

If password writeback is enabled for a user with Azure AD Premium, resetting their password should force the user to reset their password in local Active Directory, or on Windows if it is connected to Azure AD.
