  1. When creating a new devops project with GIT, it shouldn't be mandatory to buy WebApp or VM

When creating a new devops, you have 2 options:

1 - Create a new project with WebApp or VM (comes with GIT repository)
2 - Bring your own code

The problem with the first option is that it forces you to buy a WebApp or a VM.

The problem with the second option is that, although it gives you the liberty to make your deploy to a proprietary server, it doesn't bring an Azure GIT repository. You have to have a GitHub.

There should be an option that would bring exclusively Git + DevOps.

  2. Prevent group owner from setting other users as owners

Provide a way to prevent an owner of specific Azure AD groups to set other users as owners of that group.

The goal is that on the “My Groups” App (https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/r#/groups) the user doesn’t have the “Set as owner” as an action that can be performed on a group member.

  3. Assign 'Function' using dynamic service plan to existing resource group

It's currently only possible to assign an azure function to an existing resource group when using a classic service plan. When using a dynamic plan a new resource group must be created.

  4. Small biz doesn't have 20 users. Begins with one traveler. Paying for 20? No.

Provide clear pricing. Does the price shown include 20 users or is it the price shown X 20?

  5. Display a warning in Microsoft Identity Provider panel when the application has been configured from a personal account

Applications that have been created using personal accounts must be configured via "https://apps.dev.microsoft.com/". Some configuration for the IDP (i.e. Redirect Uris) will be ignored when edited via the regular Azure portal. Please display a warning in Azure telling the user that the "Application has been created using a personal account and must be edited via apps.dev.microsoft.com"

  6. Allow Logic App SQL Server Connector to work with table triggers

Logic App SQL server connector (Update Rows) throws an error when attempting to update a table with triggers. I was able to work around the issue with use of a stored procedure but it was not ideal. Please fix.

  7. use higher contrast colors to make the text more accessible to read. I have a low vision condition and I am struggling to read the text.

MSDN documentation is a critical resource for developers both within and outside Microsoft and it is very important to make it accessible to folks with low-vision such as myself. Right now, I see that the Azure SDK documentation uses grey and light blue text fonts on a white background and I am struggling to read the text, which severely affects my productivity as a developer. Please consider choosing colors that provide a greater contrast. These pages don't need to look pretty. They need to be easily readable by a diverse set of developers.

    Thank you.

  9. Check all Slot Setting in App Services

Our Apps have a couple hundred app settings each, and we generally like to have Slot Setting checked on all of them. Besides the pain of checking each box, it would add piece of mind to know that none are missed by adding a "Select All" for slot setting.

  10. ASR with vCenter 8.3.0 feature

We update ASR with vCenter from 8.2 to 8.3 then found the username and password format was changed from domain\username to username@domain
We found the same issue on forum https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-US/36ce86df-3974-4562-80bc-62e06aef8cfd/cant-add-vcenter-server?forum=hypervrecovmgr
Is it any specific date to fix the issue?

  11. post the date of the submission in the feedback window in azure for ideas that the tool returns from a search

don't torture the user and force them to click on the post to expand to a new window to see the date of the post - so many of these feedback ideas are old and have long since been addressed.

to that effect, allow for a filter of these results.

  13. acs resize

Would be nice to be able to resize Azure Container Service (ACS) nodes post deploy. This would provide scale up option & also increase VHD per node maximum.
Partial workaround: create a new agent profile with the new size, move the pods to the new pool; Limitation: persistent storage is still on the old node

  17. Service Account on all azuread machines to allow vulnerability scanning

    Suggested Improvement to AzureAD.

All windows 10 device joined to AzureAD I need a quick solution to add an AD service account to each local machine with local admin rights so each computer can be scanned. Account can be enabled and disabled network wide. Doesn't seem to be easy to achieve on a large number of machines,

    Thanks

    Paul

  18. DocumentDB overview page view by database not collection

The overview page used to be much easier to manage. The recent update has replaced the overview list of databases with a list of all collections.

We have a number of databases with the same collections in all (different environments). The list is much harder to find which collection in what database we are looking for.

Also a lot harder to get to query explorer. This has ruined the user experience.

  19. Changing SignIn name for a guest user using PowerShell

Guest user have different "SignIn names" than Userprincipalnames, which makes it impossible to invite them with their alternative address, when it is the same like the "SignIn name".
Sadly it is not possible to edit this attribute.

  20. Event Hub metrics is not relaible when connected to Azure Function Eventhub trigger

Event Hub metrics have observed mismatch in message count between incoming and outgoing. Outgoing messages is on higher side. Though message is not duplicated in destination, Its a lengthy process to compare the source and destination by other means. It would be better if we have exact metrics.
