  1. Azure AD b2b invitation api

Can you please advise if Azure AD B2B Invitation API supports consumer email addresses. From a quick test I have done for consumer email addresses which fail via CSV upload using the B2B Graph Invitation API it looks like I am able to create these users in my Azure AD directory. Can you confirm if this is a new feature and if you would recommend using it. The example posted here (https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/enterprisemobility/2016/10/31/azuread-b2b-invitation-api-is-now-in-public-preview/ ) uses a gmail consumer email address so I am not sure if this is now supported for B2B in public preview mode and whether the feature…

  2. Fix the process for updating the expiration date for a credit card associated with a subscription

It took me 5 days and a support ticket to figure out a way to update a credit card with a new expiration date. Updating the card information with the new expiration date did fix the billing issue, and there was no way to update the CCV code. Information received from support about how to remove the card didn't work either because there wasn't an alternate payment method for the subscription or because there was a $0.46 charge outstanding (I don't know which). I had to add another card, delete then re-add the original with the new date and CCV…

  3. Bring back requiring GA rights to Associate Azure subscription to Azure Active Directory

In the past in order to attach a subscription to given Azure Active Directory tenant, global admin level access was required. This requirement has been lifted. Therefore any user with an existing identity in a give Azure AD, can get their own Azure subscription and attach it to that Azure AD with out any prior approvals. This is a significant issue for enterprise. Please being back the GA level authorisation before a subscription can be attached to AAD.

  5. Update support upgrade advice in FAQ

    Hello,

The advice at the following link for upgrading support package is to contact support:

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/support/faq/

However, this can be done by the individual by purchasing the new package at:

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/plans/

And then cancelling the current subscription at:

    https://account.windowsazure.com

My suggestion is to update your FAQ as this means people don't have to wait and your support queue is reduced!

  6. Outline cross-partition effect of IN-clause for partition key in CosmosDB docs

Querying containers explains cross-partition queries[1]. It states, that the lack of a partition key causes cross-partition requests. Please add the case of the IN-clause targetting the partition key.

  8. Enable list path API(REST) for NOT listing un-committed blobs in ADLS Gen2

    ref: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/storageservices/datalakestoragegen2/path/list

Sometimes when we try to copy a blob to azure storage and this copy operation gets terminated in between than blob stays in un-commited state and if we try to access this blob it results in failure to access.

So ideally a path list api should not list any of such uncommitted blobs or there should be a way in path list API (may be a flag or something) which gives us the option to Not list such un-committed blobs.

  11. user addition in various subscription

Is there's a way to add a single user to multiple subscriptions in a single shot rather than adding a new user to each and every subscription manually ?

  13. User Privileges in Azure Resource IAM - Can't Prevent Resource Deletion

Despite all the structure of the roles and privileges available, not one that I have tested allows users to stop and start VM but not delete them. In addition to that, then applying Delete locks on resources has no effect for those users added under IAM as owners or contributors - the can still delete resources through the portal. Delete locks do not work for us.

  14. Build in a Warning in SQL Server Express, to explain that Agent is not available.

I had difficulties to Start the agent, finally I found out that the Agent can not be used with SQL Express. Cost me a day to find out.

  15. Add the ability to distinguish Critical/Security Updates from "other" in Update Management for Linux in Azure Gov

In Azure Government, all updates for Red Hat are displayed as "other" leaving no way to determine which ones are Critical/Security updates. This feature is vital for organizations to roll out patches as Critical and security updates are typically rolled out separate from recommended updates. As this feature is available in Azure Commercial, it should also be available in Azure Gov to maintain parity between the two cloud environments.

  16. Improvement of scheduled event

    Problem:

Appliance product (e.g. Cloud Volumes ONTAP server) is not able to consume Azure metadata instance because it doesn't allow that user to execute rest API within the server.
    https://docs.microsoft.com/ja-jp/azure/virtual-machines/linux/scheduled-events

    Idea:

It would be useful to be able to set up and check from Azure portal.

  18. Consistent naming conventions in new API's like to RATECARD api.

Why does each new API seem to have it's own naming convention? Currently, the RATECARD api returns a bunch of fields but none of them match the Sku's for VM's .. or anything else anywhere. For example if I'm trying to get the pricing on a StandardD2sv4 I have to break that sku up into pieces and do all kinds of matches for priority, type, version, and etc .. don't get me started on windows vs linux. I did end up doing that because I have no choice but then I've found several places where that doesn't work…
