  5. There should be option to use same Free TLS Cert by two app services behind same trafficmanager

Currently, if I have a web app App 1, it is possible to create a free TLS certificate for a custom domain like abc.trafficmanager.net and assign to my app service App 1. As, App 1 is behind the traffic manager abc the cert binding works.

But, if we another app service App 2 under the same traffic manager abc, we don't have the option to either: - link the free TLS cert created for App 1 to App 2. - or create another free TLS cert with the same custom domain name abc.trafficmanager.net.

  6. Pro-active response on service outage

We cannot obtain a pro-active response from Microsoft regarding some system maintenance problem.
Very often we encounter unexpected connection problem but we find out very late when Azure announce the system problem on the outage website.

  8. friendly link for customer to update payment information

I am finding it somewhat difficult to have to schedule time with customers to have them set their payment information. It would be nice if we could sign up the customer and add the subscription. It would then be great to just send the customer a link that takes them directly to update the payment information. This way the customer only needs to login to the azure subscription (with the corresponding login) and fill out the payment information.

  9. create a mechanism to move independent website ownership to separate accounts.

We developed independent websites on our Azure account and later sold one of sites to a third party. Being able to separate the sites and migrate them directly to other Azure account owners directly would be very helpful.

  10. Live chat

It would be awesome to have a live chat at the moment you experience a problem with the azure portal that it is not in the solutions the portal give you. When we make a request and communicate with emails it takes more time. This could reduce the time to solve a request.

  11. do not request sensitive information bye-mail

We received an e-mail from a Microsoft employee, requesting log files about our hosting environment. I do not suggest this kind of information is requested by e-mail for security reasons.

  13. Reduce Conditional Access Sign In frequency from 1hour to 0 Minutes. for MFA prompt

Using AAD to provide MFA for VPN connectivity.

Scenario :: AAD with PaloAlto GlobalProtect Enterprise App, Conditional access policy has session 'sign in frequency' set to 1 hour (currently the minimum)

Can this frequency be reduced to 0 minutes?

End Goal is to prompt anyone logging in with MFA every time

  14. Billing: Not unduly scare your customers with "your resources will be deleted" Red Mails.

    Hi, thanks.

The real issue is: The payment thing is clear, and it was a mixup here. The issue is that Microsoft/Azure scares the heck out of people with its "red text" threats to start deleting resources. Reality is, that we are good customers and…

  15. Forced logoff from Azure Data Factory Web Client after 30 minutes of Inactive timeout

Azure Data Factory UI should have a timeout setting for inactivity and force logoff users after certain inactive time, let say 30 minutes. this is a mandatory requirement in our organization for all web clients

  17. Allow Container Instance to user NSG ICMP

We can currently link a Container Group with a Network Profile, but even if this network profile have a NSG that allow ICMP, the container instance can't use it, why?

  19. RBAC should disable creating a resource where the user is not having access to

In Role Based Access Control, I can assign users to create specific resources, but when the users try to create a resource where he doesn't have access, it throws an error at the end of providing all the fields. Instead, it should not even allow to create a resource saying the user does not have access.

  20. Provide a web developers cheatsheet

As putting a web site on Azure is nothing like putting one on IIS or shared hosting, mainly because the whole idea has been reinvented and facilities renamed (for no good reason IMHO), it would be great if a cheatsheet was made widely available. Things like:-
You can't create a DB on Azure and restore it from a SQL Server .bak file.
There is no session or cache storage as there was with IIS. You have to provision a special Redis Cache and recode your application specifically.
Massive and expensive gotchas and the way out of them. Help people into…
