Before the past update, upon saving a function, the portal would compile the function and it would give logs to show any errors that showed up. At the moment, product group has removed this, which is a cause of inconvenience for many developers who prefer this method because it does not require dealing with various deployment methods, and it allows the user ease of access to the functions- they can be worked on from a variety of different devices without having to go through the task of installing IDEs.

In short, this would be a quality of life improvement for the aforementioned developers.
