  1. Improve/align OAUTH2 documentation

AAD's manual describes the common grant flows used by OAUTH2, however, there is some problems with the documentation in my opinion.

If you implement applications you might experience that:

    1) the ADAL documentation does not align with the AAD OAUTH2 manual, thus you may not know exactly which grant flow is behind the ADAL APIs, nor which ADAL APIs you have to use in order to use a particular OAUTH2 grant flow... or how to appropriately register an application in AAD for either scenario.

    2) the terminology differs between the AAD OAUTH2 manual, the app registration portal itself, ADAL APIs…

  2. Document resource owner password credential grant (ROPC)

AAD supports Resource Owner Password Credential grant (ROPC) behind the scenes, however, its not documented in the AAD OAUTH2 manual.

In certain use cases, there is no obvious OAUTH2 grant flow and ROPC might become the solution. In such situations, its better that Microsoft documents it, how to properly use it in a somewhat secure manner, and when to absolutely not use it, rather than to let people shoot themselves in the foot with an undocumented feature.

  3. Use different Identy as Service Administrator when creating subscriptions automatically

We are using New-AzureRMSubscription to automatically create subscriptions. After creation we see that the Account Owner is made Service Administrator of each subscription that is created via this way.
There is a risk that, when the credentials of this account owner are confiscated, the attacker takes over control, as service administrator/ (service owner), of all the subscriptions.
This risk can be mitigated by having the possibility to assign a different identity as service administrator for each subscription created.
If we create such an subscription via the enterprise portal, we already have the possibility to assign a different identity as service…

  4. How To Reset A Password On PayPal?

To use the services of this widely used online payment gateway, you need to have a PayPal account. And to login into your account you need to have an email address and password. But the problem occurs when you forgot the password of your account. Without password you will not be able to login to your account. In this case, PayPal technical support providers stated that if you’ve forgotten your account password but you remember your email address, then you will be able to recover your password with some of the simple steps that are mentioned below. Have a look…

  6. Enable Policy to set NSG Flow logs setting

Currently, Azure Policy cannot set configuration that is set via POST actions, including NSG Flow logs.

This (along with any other setting in ARM) should be auditable, and settable via Policy.

  8. add a warning quota for products and licenses in the azure ad

we have to purchase licenses as soon as there are all assigned to users. At the moment we have to look regularly in azure to see if there are licenses left.
it would be a good feature to get a mail notification as soon as there are X licenses left.

  10. make limitations of free tier more apparent during sign up

The AKS landing page has a "Start free" button that will sign up new users and get them into a free trial account. From here it's possible to go all the way through requesting a cluster, including submission of the job and successful provisioning of an API. The node provisioning fails bc the default 3 node cluster with the only available instance type would exceed quota limits. Getting so far through the process to find out that quotas are the limitation and then that the workaround is to upgrade from the free trial to a paid plan or try a…

  13. Separate ARM Template resources for frontendIPConfigurations, backendAddressPools, loadBalancingRules, probes in LoadBalancers

Separate ARM Template resources for frontendIPConfigurations, backendAddressPools, loadBalancingRules, probes in LoadBalancers.

In concrete, allow put operations on "type": "Microsoft.Network/loadBalancers/frontendIPConfigurations" etc.

Otherwise conditions & copy are not usable in the arm templates.

  14. migrate to striped disk by ASR

    Good Morning,
i'm trying to migrate our DataCenter to Azure(north europe). Unfortunately in that DataCenter there is no the possibility to select VM included in the family "storage optimezed". So i want to migrate a on prem disk directly to a striped SSD premium disk. Currently, if i'm not wrong, there is not the possibility to decide to migrate to a created striped disk. Of course, i can migrate to a disk, do a failover, after with AZcopy transfer all data to a local striped disk.
So,it would be very usefull to give the possibility to migrate to a disk…

  15. Need more detailed level of firewall rule option to allow access from Azure Insight resources such as ADF,SA etc.

Azure SQL Database is a major output resource for Data Factory(ADF) and Stream Analytics(SA), but these PaaS applications do not have a static IP address.
Therefore making it impossible to setup a robust Firewall configuration.
We understand that [Allow access to Azure services] is designed to handle this sort of situations, but it is way too loose from security point of view, since it allows access from all the resources on Azure including those are NOT owned by the users.
which is a risk and to achieve more secured environment, many customers demand for a more detailed firewall option, which…

  18. Not able to update Traffic Manager through PowerShell

I am trying to change the routing method of traffic manager from Priority to Performance using PowerShell ISE.

I am using the below commands to achieve this-

    $ep = Get-AzureRmTrafficManagerEndpoint -Name <EndPoint Name> -ResourceGroupName <Resource Group Name> -Type: <Endpoint type> -ProfileName: <traffic manager name>
    $ep.Location = 'Location'

    $tm = Get-AzureRmTrafficManagerProfile -name <Profile Name> -ResourceGroupName <Resource Group Name>
    $tm.TrafficRoutingMethod = 'Performance'

    Set-AzureRmTrafficManagerProfile -TrafficManagerProfile $tm

When I run this command, I am getting the below error-

" Endpoint name '' is invalid. Endpoint names cannot be empty or all whitespace, and must be up to 260 alphanumeric characters long. The type ''…

  19. Clarify 'Offer details' page for nonprofit donations to provide detail regarding which services are exempt

I suggest that the 'offer details' page (for Azure credits for non-profit organisations) should have a listing, or a link to a listing elsewhere, describing exactly which products and services are excluded. The general explanation is not clear enough.

After opening a support case, I now understand that Azure Information Protection Premium P2 is one of the products excluded from the sponsorship offer for non-profit organisations. However, as a Microsoft Partner, I did not understand that when I first read the offer details page (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/offers/ms-azr-0036p/) and recommended this as a solution to our nonprofit customer who wanted to…

  20. How To recover the Google Account without using the recovery email

First of all the user needs to sign in to the Google account.

Then the users need to enter the username and the password for signing in to the email account.

Then the users may enter the email address and the corresponding password for signing in to the Google account.

In case the user does not remember the password, then the user needs to answer some security questions. After answering these questions, the users will be able to recover the password of their Google account in an easy and fast manner.

If the user forgets the answers to the questions,…
