  1. Azure Query Editor End Points Connectivity through Port 443 only

With recent changed architecture MS Azure requires Port 443 and 1443 availability for Azure Query Editor connectivity. If an user is connecting Azure Query Editor through Portal.azure.com, there shouldn't be any firewall request to allow outbound communication through port 1443 as user is already accessing port 443 for portal.azure.com.

Port 1443 should only be required when any user is using SSMS,

  2. Allow Azure admin to check which tenant was accessed by user in the sign-ins activity

Please allow Azure admin to check which tenant was accessed by the user in the sign-ins activity. When you are managing multiple tenants with various Conditional Access policies, you see the sign-ins where access "SUCCESSFUL" but Conditional Policies "NOT APPLIED" and it is difficult to verify the policies are working correctly without knowing "which tenant was accessed" by the user.

  3. Is there any way to rename the deployed resources in Azure?

Is there any way to rename the deployed resources in Azure? As Microsoft support engineer guide me to delete all resources and redeploy it. This is the only one way.

  4. Tags for RG $system and others

There are some resources that are being created outside of customer's control under the RGs called $System and others. As per the public documentation, this cannot be tagged. Tags are useful for billing purposes and having them tagged would help to make the billing processes efficient inside any company that works on this way.

Being able to tag this resources would be helpful.

  5. simply consolidate Azure subscriptions

It should easily possible to consolidate 2 Azure Subscriptions (so one gets obsolete) without complicate and risky moving of ressources where access to ressources might get lost etc.

I guess this is some kind of standard case, happening regularly with diverse customers:
Some programmer for example may have created a usage-based payment azure subscription and implemented something in it which is productive, so the company wants to consolidate this usage-based subscription with the company’s subscription, so all is in the company subscription in result and the usage-based subscription has become obsolete.

So I’m positively expecting that there must be some…

  7. Encrypting OS/Root volume and Datadisk volume of vm's spun up from custom images.

It's not idea, it's more of like a business need to implement. Encrypting volumes from marketplace images is great but it would be even useful if we can encrypt volumes if instance that is spun up from custom image. For lot of industries like telecom, health etc to maintain infrastructure up and running all time and to holding lot of sensitive data taking custom images is also critical part

  9. Metric for files in blob storage

Within a blob storage we can store a bunch of files in an arbitrary folder structure. It would be great, if we could create metrics based on these files and structures.

    Some examples would be:
    - How many files (with a file mask like *.txt) are within a specified folder (maybe recursive) that are older than x days?
    - What are the names of these files?
    - What is their cumulative size?

If that would be available we could create alerts or triggers on these values, like send an email if in folder /tasks are *.txt files that are older…

  12. API Management ARM Template Needs Wildcard Support

API Management ARM Template currently requires to list all the APIs for Azure Functions that needs to be forwarded to. There should be an ability to use wildcard instead.

  19. Allow customers to remove enterprise apps from their tenant so they can delete the tenant themselves.

Right now, if you have certain enterprise apps added to your tenant in azure, you will not be able to delete them from the tenant so you can delete the tenant itself. It requires a convoluted process through the product group to get them deleted. We would like to be able to clean up our own test tenants and delete them at our leisure without having to go through this long drawn out process.

  20. Improvement for the "A Vulnerability Assessment scan has completed on your server '***'" Sunday emails

Enable drill down on the Risk Summary section of the email with a server's Vulnerability Assessment scan results. Rather than drilling into each database link to see which might have a high risk finding, make the finding counts drillable or expose the database name associated with each one. Attachment has image of what I am talking about.
