Enable applications in Azure to share configuration
If you have multiple Azure Websites or Azure Roles provisioned, you might want them to share configuration details, for example about databases or storage account locations.
I would like Azure to have a something like, "Azure Shared Configuration", that you can point applications to (so, I guess there's that) and receive whatever settings they need.16 votes -

Conditional Access - Ability to Customize Text on the Block Access Screen
We would like the ability to customize the text on the "Block Access" screen. This would allow us to explain to the user why they don't have access to the App and put a link to a Helpdesk KB. Also, it would be preferable to be able to customize the text per Conditional Rule, so the text can be specific to why the user was blocked for that particular App.

Service Bus: Session-aware queues support through REST
Session-aware queue is a awesome feature.
But if you work with any tecnology (all but .Net), you don't have access to it because REST API do not support this feature.

Conditional access api with at least What If capability
Create an API for conditional access that only displays the policies, but also enables you to perform 'What If' to test the them.
It will significantly help create automations by overseeing what might get blocked. A response should be a detailed report like in the Azure Portal.15 votes -
Keep notifications from previous session in azure portal
Notifications disappear from last session. Due to this its difficult to keep track of inprogress work.
E.g- Importing a database
Notification - Inprogress
After refresh notification is gone and you have no idea about the status of your import .14 votes -

Point-to-site VPN authentication logging
When a client has their VMs inside VNets, and those VMs are not exposed to Internet, the only option to get to them is P2S VPN. But it uses certificates for authentication (which is not a good idea either). What's worse (!), there NO LOGGING!!! I mean, come on Azure team! This is like a security whole. No one knows who, when and from where got inside a perimeter??? This shouldn't even be here, this should be done from the very beginning.

Free pricing tier for Web App Service using Linux
Right now there is free pricing tier (F1) for Web Apps that use Windows; web apps that use Linux don't have that option - there Basic and Standard plans only.

Allow static public IP on Application Gateway
After AppGw stop/start, I noticed it was assigned a new public IP. If the sites are in production, we'd be in a lot of trouble. Please allow to assign a static public IP into AppGw.

Make it easy for me to know when my VM is being throttled
Knowing when throttling is the cause of your VM's performance woes is essential but there is no scalable way of monitoring when an Azure VM is being throttled. VM and disk maxims change according VM size and disk specification. Setting up alerts based on PerfMon and/or Metrics counters is, at best, laborious. Setting up the monitoring of:
VM level throttling:
*IOPS: \PhysicalDisk(_Total)\Disk Transfers/sec (PerfMon)
*Throughput: \PhysicalDisk(_Total)\Disk Bytes/sec (PerfMon)Disk level throttling:
*IOPS: \PhysicalDisk(drive)\Disk Transfers/sec (PerfMon)
*Throughput: "\PhysicalDisk(drive)\Disk Bytes/sec (PerfMon)Storage account throttling:
*Max egress: Metrics\storage_account\Account\Egress (Azure Portal)
*Max ingress: Metrics\storage_account\Account\Ingress (Azure Portal)
*IOPS: Metrics\storage_account\Account\Transactions* (Azure Portal)Does not scale well…

Conditional access reporting
It would be great to get reporting on conditional access policies .i.e. you have a conditional access policy to block a specific country and to generate a report to show the number of blocks from that policy

Control which VM will be excluded in case of scale-in in a scale set
We want to make a Oracle application auto-scale (scale-out,scale-in) using IaaS. So the concern with the application is, it supports Admin role enablement only in one VM in its cluster. So if we define a scale set and in case of scale-in the VM with Admin role enabled shuts down then that will be a problem for us. Thus can we have a feature to exclude some VM's from scale-in, so that such business scenarios can also be fulfilled by Azure.
Thanks & Regards,
Pratik

Azure Policy : Need to see compliant ressources (not only not-compliant)
HI,
When setting up Azure Policy, compliant policy just display non-compliant ressources.
It could be give some confusion for Policy Manager if our custom policy is really working. Best way that I found, is to create a new ressource without attended settings, then check later (if audit mode) if this ressources is show as non compliant, then change the settings for check if now I've 0 non-compliant ressources.
For to be more quick in deploying azure policy rules, just a tab for show all compliant ressources, could be useful.
Extra question : when having not conpliant based on field, to…

Nordic azure region
Build a data center (Azure region) to Finland or Sweden. As it stands there is a lot of distance to closest data center from Finland or Sweden.
Having data center close to the customers would bring new customers and also improve service quality to old customers.
