  1. I want a history of the Status chart

I would like a historic data view of the status chart over time. Basically I am looking for where to deploy service mirrors and what I want to identify is which datacenters are LEAST likely to have simultaneous failure for the services I need.

  3. Fix the session timeout problem

While I was providing feedback about the session timeout problem I entered the same infinite loop. I'll have to give up.

  4. fix the looping session timeout

While browsing the options for my new azure account the portal session timed out (not expected because I was clicking on things). The option to login and continue refreshed the screen, but was immediately followed by the session timing out again. This repeated a half dozen times until I finally was able to click the logout menu item before the time our. Windows live then complained that it failed to log me out of several services. I kept trying with the same behavior. At one time windows live suggested I close my browser and clear my cookies. Huh?

    I think…

  5. Organizational Account for Ops Insight Mobile Client

Ops Insights Mobile app works only with Microsoft Accounts. It would be ideal if organizational accounts can be added to that as well.

  6. Binaries building and hosting for Open Source projects

In Nodejs world, building native binaries for several platforms using node-gyp and wrapping it with nodejs wrapper is getting popular.
Case in hand is node-sass, a wrapper around libsass, which builds and host its binaries on GitHub, which happen to be a not very viable solution. See https://github.com/sass/node-sass/issues/504 and https://github.com/sass/node-sass/issues/535.

It would be nice if Windows Azure team shed some love towards open source community and provide building binaries on multiple platforms (Windows, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, CentOS, FreeBSD and Mac) and hosting them for free of cost.

On a related note, it would be great if Microsoft consider building…

  9. send a notification per mail incase a website backup fails.

right now, one needs to manually check the portal to detect failed backups.

  11. Make it possible to undelete a VHD if it gets deleted.

It appears someone deleted our VM and VHD over night.

We cannot recover it without going to the backups

Very unhappy that this cloud thing is not as good as advertised

  14. Allow English international user develop for Azure China a possibility

I am very excited with Microsoft's recent announcement regarding Azure China.
How can non-Chinese speaking MSDN developer use their monthly credit with Azure China?
Right now It doesn't seem to understand my regular Microsoft account login...
Isn't the whole point to allow us, to get inside mainland china?!
My whole aim is to do just that.

  16. Azure's status board availability

The Microsoft Azure status board should live outside Azure's ecosystem just because when there is a problem with some Azure´s service, the Microsoft Azure status page may not be available for the same issue.

  18. Make Azure available in Haiti

Microsoft Azure should be available for developers and businesses in Haiti. This country lack of a power supply system you can rely on for business, so the cloud is our best options. Please consider adding Haiti in the list of supported countries while signing up for Microsoft Azure.

  19. I suggest you fix your system so that it actually works. That would be a good start.

Frankly, Azure is unreliable - so much so that our staff has what we have come to cal the "Azure Yips". We actually cringe and look at the screen out of the corners of our eyes, so as to try and avoid a huge disappointment each time the system is down. It's really not a matter of making it "better". It's more a matter of either making it functional and reliable or simply making it "go away".

Can you provide some examples of things that you consider to be unstable in Azure?

  20. I can't even sign up for a trial account because I live in the Cayman Islands.

Microsoft sucks. I am a Canadian. I live in the Cayman Islands. My Microsoft Account has it's region bound to Canada. My credit cards are in the Cayman Islands. I can't change my billing address. The trial page will only accept Canadian credit cards. I called a bunch of different Microsoft departments and have been given the run around non stop. Everyone just keeps passing the buck and no one knows what is going on. Good job on blocking out an entire country.

Windows Azure is commercially available in the following 84 countries, and this is not one of them. Learn more here: http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/pricing/faq/

We are adding more countries as we can, but in the meantime if you wish to use the service in an unsupported country, you’ll need to use one of several third party providers which front the Azure Subscriptions for organizations in unsupported countries. Just keep in mind that those providers are not MSFT so perform due-diligence to make sure any vendor you select is reputable.

    Thanks for understanding.
