  1. Azure Resource Graph - Add VMSS instances

    With Azure Resource Graph, please allow ability to query VMSS instance metadata. For example, it’s not possible to find all the private IP addresses associated with each VMSS instance as they are not part of ARG.

  2. Azure Portal Need to Display allocated\Free spaces from all the databases in a Elastic pool

    information provided in the Azure Portal, which was showing my elastic pool with over 50% free space. It would be useful if more information could be provided in the portal to show/include the allocated spaces from all the databases in an elastic pool so that the actual effective free space can be shown.

    This will make it more obvious why the error is generated when trying to create/copy a new database.

    Long-running operation failed with status 'Failed'. Additional Info:'The elastic pool has reached its storage limit. The storage usage for the elastic pool cannot exceed (XXXXXX) MBs.

  3. Be able to delete disabled subscription

    Looks like there is no way to delete the disabled subscription. I just can filter it to not display it. It would be great, we could delete it and you archive it if needed for audit needs

  4. Provide options for support team to increase Azure Free credits based on Microsoft Employee or Customer request

    I am registering this idea as suggested by Business Lead of Azure support team. This feature request includes providing ability to the Azure support team to increase free Azure dev quota from $150 to $250 if a Microsoft employee from a customer facing role (Azure AD or Azure Security Architect) frequently uses personal account in conjunction with AIRS account. My case is with my AIRS account I could not spin up Azure AD DS managed service. So I used my free account but it almost ran out of credit during a demo. Even through I have valid reason for personal…

  6. Allow a comment block in Azure Policy

    Allow those writing Azure Policy to document their config files like developers would document code with comments. Simply allow including "comment":{} and ignore it.

    I would like to be able to do something like this:

    "comment":{

    "CreatedOn": "7/30/2020",

    "Purpose": "Block changes that would take the configuration out of a state of compliance with policy XYZ",
    "ItemsBlocked":[
    "Turning off logging",
    "Turning off https",
    "Turning on remote debugging"
    ],
    "PointOfContact": "If you have concerns about this policy please contact the security and compliance team"

    }

  7. cdn rules engine tester

    It would be really helpful to have a Rules Engine test option for Azure CDN. Even IIS6 had a redirect rules tester.
    It is very time consuming to enter a rule, do a purge and wait an indetermined amount of time to see if your rule is working, only to find out you missed a '/' or something.

  8. Allow configuring "Scope" in IAM to "This Resource" as default

    IAM - in role assignments it defaults to "all scopes" for every resource you access when I would like the default to be "this resource" instead. There should be a way to set this for role assignments and not have to select it every single time.

  9. Application Insights - dashboard built-in RBAC roles

    Currently there are no built-in dashboard roles such as:

    Microsoft.Portal/dashboards/read

    Microsoft.Portal/dashboards/write
    Microsoft.Portal/dashboards/delete

    You can only create these with custom roles which requires Premium AD which not everyone has. We have multiple requests from users for dashboard permissions.

  10. make all descriptions mandatory, to enforce good meta-data practice

    Most description boxes are optional - the exception that comes to mind is saving ARM templates to Azure. One of the biggest challenges organisations face is poor documentation. Enforcing descriptions would go some way to mitigating that, at least in Azure

  12. Allow shorter timespans for Sign-In Frequency within Conditional Access Policies

    Token lifetimes used to be very granularly configurable, as specified in this document.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/active-directory-configurable-token-lifetimes#token-lifetime-policy-properties

    These methods however have been deprecated, and the only suggestion we have been given is to configure the Sign-In Frequency. However, this only seems to go down to 1h, which is insufficient for many of our sensitive apps. I would like to see the Sign-In Frequency functionality expanded to allow shorter time spans, or at least some flag to set on a Policy to force re-authentication any time the application is accessed. Some applications, such as VPN, really do warrant authentication + MFA every time they…

  13. Azure Restore: When you perform disk level restore, automatic purge of disks inside the staging storage account

    When you perform disk level restore on Azure IaaS VM from vault without snapshot, the disks are restored ( unmanaged *VHD) inside the storage account as well as inside the Resource Group ( managed). Actually we are charged for double the price. Example if i restore 4 TB, charged for 8 TB. Microsoft must enable automatic purge of Staging Storage accounts disks.

  14. We would like to be able to use the Azure DevOps Kubernetes Service Connection against Arc Enabled kubernetes Clusters

    When using ADO and selecting the Kubernetes Serivce Connection, it only shows AKS clusters in the drop down for a particular subscription. We think it would be great to be able to use the kubernetes service connection against Arc Enabled kubernetes clusters that have been added to a subscription.

  15. Support topic selections are not consistent with Azure Portal resource names

    I was alerted that when opening a support ticket for a web site created on Azure, you have to select a "Web App", however the documentation and portal refers to them as "App Services".

    "App Services" is a different selection available when opening a support ticket, but not specifically for the website. (Config and Perf vs. Dev)

    Consistency between these references could makes things easier for the customer and help avoid potential misroutes.

  16. SAML Signing certificate notification email

    SAML signing certificate notification email - We need to be able to pull this information via powershell to report thoroughly on expiring certificates and have the ability to email the necessary owner that an application or enterprise application certificate is going to expire.

  17. Privatelink for keyvault FQDN displays incorrectly

    The FQDN for keyvault privateLink is displaying incorrectly in the portal. The FQDN for the private link shows .vaultcore.azure.net, but should only reflect the name of the keyvault, .vault.azure.net. Other services with private link such as storage show as *.blob.core.windows.net and are resolvable. The privateLink FQDN for keyvault should work the same. Please see the attached images showing an example of the correctly keyvault FQDN shown for the keyvault resource and the incorrect FQDN shown for the private link.

  20. Don't require an admin role for ServiceNow user provisioning

    Don't require "admin" role to provision users in ServiceNow. This role gives the Azure app way too many permissions when all it needs to do is manage the users. "user_admin" would be acceptable.
