  2. Enable list path API(REST) for NOT listing un-committed blobs in ADLS Gen2

    ref: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/storageservices/datalakestoragegen2/path/list

    Sometimes when we try to copy a blob to azure storage and this copy operation gets terminated in between than blob stays in un-commited state and if we try to access this blob it results in failure to access.

    So ideally a path list api should not list any of such uncommitted blobs or there should be a way in path list API (may be a flag or something) which gives us the option to Not list such un-committed blobs.

  3. allow CA to block all except Azure Portal

    We like to block all cloud apps access but exclude some of the apps for the selected users from selected Locations to have access to apps.

  5. Ability to specify regional setting for invoice usage detail csv file

    Decimal and thousand separators in the invoice usage detail csv file, follow the American standard. It would be preferable to have the csv file follow the regional setting specified in Azure.

  6. Azure portal should always shows resource group name as customer setting

    Azure portal, usage data called by CSP API and usage report show the same resource group name sometimes as Capital letter, sometimes as small letter. it's so confusing.

  7. Change the default behavior of "Guest user access restrictions (Preview)"

    With the introduction of this new feature it's not possible anymore for Guest Accounts to administer RBAC for Subscriptions, Resource Groups or Resources that they were administering before the change due to the fact that they are owner of the resource.

    Even without the possibility to browse the content of AD and with some limitations (e.g. Application Identities) an external Guest Account was able to provide access to owned Azure resources. With the introduction of "Guest user access restrictions (Preview)" this is not possible anymore and when a Guest Account click the"Add Role Assignment" button a generic error appears.

  8. Support for SQL Edge on Windows without the need for nested virtualization

    Currently to run SQL Edge you need a Linux Gateway. This is difficult in manufacturing as most will only accept Windows OS's. The suggestion by Microsoft to use Nested Virtualization, essentially running a linux VM on a Windows VM is not easy to get past Industrial IT/IS teams...

  9. Provide for having two account admins for a subscription

    Currently there are a number of activities which can only be performed by the singe account admin. In an enterprise environment it is not unusual for a staff member to take leave. It is important that all activities on a subscription be able to be performed by somebody else, and hence having two account admins is essential..

  10. Issue with Password Validation

    When using Azure I notice that if entering a new password for a resource the Password Validation asks for Upper/Lower Case Letter, Number and Symbol with a min length of 8 characters.

    I use 1Password to manage the team passwords and tick the boxes for a nice random password with these boxes ticked and it fails as you can see in the image attached as a sample.

    It looks like it is only allowing certain symbols but not all, so no £ or @ or ( ) etc so if this is the case the Validator Error message should say…

  12. Small and Big Boxes, Gone!

    Cloud and Azure is on the way to transitioning virtual reality not only virtual but actually real.

    The trends of the big going to small can highly be noticed and seen since the beginning of computing? Cross platform
    Apps had risen, a trend that can not be stop. Servers, became cheap for the common people and was called huge boxes at the beginning. It became little boxes from laptops to small mobile phone that can do much power of computing and more.

    Now those big and small boxes had became Apps. The platform they are dancing and playing on are…

  13. enable to add resource group to SQL Long term Retention instance

    I have noticed that SQL Long term Retention service doesn't show resource group in usage reports. The Instance ID doesn't have a "resourcegroup/****" section, hence the resource group column is blank.

    It would be helpful to be able to group this instance with a resource group as well.

    Could you set up an option to specify a resource group when we configure SQL Long term Retention instance?
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/long-term-backup-retention-configure

    Or, at least make it taggable?

  15. fix the issue with the web headers (case sensitive) in web activity

    Hi,

    ADF Pipeline started with Web activity(POST Request) starts failing from yesterday (01-Sep), which was running well in past.

    URL: ***

    Method: POST

    Request Headers:
    content-type application/x-www-form-urlencoded

    Body: key values paired parameters

    Error code: https://login.microsoftonline.com/error?code=900144

    {

    "errorCode": "2108",

    &quot;message&quot;: &quot;{\&quot;error\&quot;:\&quot;invalid_request\&quot;,\&quot;error_description\&quot;:\&quot;AADSTS900144: The request body must contain the following parameter: &#39;xxxx&#39;.\,\&quot;error_uri\&quot;:\&quot;<a rel="nofollow noreferrer" href="https://login.microsoftonline.com/error?code=900144\&quot;}&quot;">https://login.microsoftonline.com/error?code=900144\&quot;}&quot;</a>,

    &quot;failureType&quot;: &quot;&quot;,
    &quot;target&quot;: &quot;&quot;,
    &quot;details&quot;: []

    }

    On investigation, Identified the web headers became case-sensitive now,
    Request headers key should be 'Content-Type' and its not supporting 'content-type' any more

  16. Azure Cost Management Quantities

    Hi,
    Would it be possible to add the ability to see the quantity of each resource consumed?

    Currently I can only see the dollar value consumed, of individual resources, but I cant see the quantity of each resource consumed.

    As an example, it would be good to see D2s v3, with a quantity of 730 hours, at $100 USD.

    I have raised a support case confirming that quantities is not currently available through Azure Cost Management.

    Thanks
    Troy

  19. Please reinstate Application Gateway Performance Logs on v2 gateways

    v1 Application Gateways had performance logs which could be exported to Log Analytics containing useful information which could be used in dashboards. This functionality has been removed in v2 gateways.
