  1. Implement Password Writeback healthy support through MPN Portal

I would like to inquire about an issue in the CSP portal.
For an end customer with the Self Service and Password Write Back feature enabled in Azure AD, the correct helathy status is being showed up as working,, this is only being displayed when the tenant is accessed directly through the Azure Portal (portal.azure.com), form the end user perspective.
If the customer environment is accessed from the partner portal, the same features are being showed as "not working".

This will undoubtedly cause issues for engineers that are trying to essentially fix an issue that is not really broken.
    And…

  2. Add manual and auto shutdown to Azure Container Service

Would be great to be able to shutdown all compute within an ACS cluster, both manually in the portal, and via an auto shutdown schedule. As it is currently you have to manually shut down the master VM and the VM Scale Sets.

  3. Support ICMP traffic by NAT gateway

Currently instances deployed behind nat gateway can't ping public resources because NAT gateway does not support ICMP traffic. Please have support ICMP traffic as well

  4. EA: Managing subscriptions operations by multiple users, not by single account owner

This is regarding Azure account & subscription management in Enterprise Agreement
There is a scenario where the account owner is not available for considerable long time due to his/her sick/vacation leave or long biz trip for example, which cause subscriptions operations downtime.
To avoid that, we should be able to have multiple users for such subscriptions operations.

  5. Add a command to see the list of minor versions available for ARO clusters per region

Currently, there is no way to know which minor versions for the ARO cluster are available in Azure.

It would be great to have something similar to the command we have for AKS.

I mean something similar to this AKS command:

az aks get-versions --location <region> --output table

  6. Support using Azure SignalR in ASP.NET (OWIN)

Azure SignalR SDK only runs on ASP.NET Core, which is a blocker for lots of companies / existing projects.

Please also support ASP.NET (OWIN runtime).

  7. Automatic blocking of malitious traffic on bastion would be great

In network watcher, we can see malitious traffic was detected but allowed by bastion host. It would be great if bastion have a default blocking setting on these malicious traffics.

  9. allow non-admins to receive Subscription notifications

Today, you must be a Service Admin, Co Admin or Owner of a Subscription in order to receive audit notifications for a Subscription.

    Example: SQL Audit Log Notifications

Users in our environment that own resources in a Subscription have Reader permissions at a Subscription scope, with higher level permissions on Resource Groups. As a result, there are very few human accounts that have Owner permissions on a Subscription. So these notifications may be missed, or are sent to Cloud Admins who then need to forward these onto Teams that own those resources. In order to maintain a least-privilege model, we…

  11. Support signing up without third-party cookies (e.g. Firefox)

In Chrome and Firefox, third-party cookies are often blocked. This prevents users from easily adding an Azure subscription to their account since the "Identity verification by card" step requires it (otherwise it just hangs forever without any form appearing for that step).

  12. Instance Metadata Service should support "standard" SKU public IP in the same way as "Basic" SKU

A request to Azure Instance Metadata Service allows me to retrieve from the VM all the network related information (for each NIC):
    - IP address
    - Subnet
    - Public IP associated
It is a very convenient way to discover from the VM itself which public IP it has without needing an external service.

The problem is that only "Basic" SKU Public IP are supported while we need "Standard" SKU to support Availability Zones or reserved Public IP ranges.

  13. Standard rules engine for Azure CDN: remove limitation of 5 rules per endpoint

The new Rules Engine for Azure CDN Standard is definitely a long awaited improvement to Azure's offering for hosting single page applications / static websites.

After trying it out in a real project though it has currently one limitation which is a showstopper at the moment:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cdn/cdn-standard-rules-engine-reference#terminology

"Each Azure CDN endpoint can have up to five rules."

Let's say you have a multilangual front end app (SPA) which serves the different language versions as relative paths from under the same subdomain (CDN endpoint). And you naturally want to enforce all those lang specific sites to rewrite to their corresponding index.html…

  14. performance diagnostics (preview) autocreate storage account with highest TLS minimum version

When troubleshooting VM performance there is now "Performance Diagnostics" in preview, which per default creates a new storage account (unless you hit the settings in the wizard) in the resource group where the VM is in. Per default a storage account is created with the minimum requirement for TLS1.0.

In case you have a policy in place to deny the creation of storage accounts with minimum TLS lower than v1.2 the creation fails. Only way to fix this is to either exclude the policy on the RG or select an existing storage account using settings in the "Performance Diagnostics (preview)"…

  15. Support geo-replication for Azure SQL Database Hyperscale

We have several databases that is configured for geo-replication. Our databases are big (>1TB) in size but low in CPU usage. We expect to save quite a lot of cost by using hyperscale. Could you support geo-replication for Azure SQL Database Hyperscale?

Log Analytics dashboard, by selecting "custom" time range which is longer than 1 month, without any alert saying "dashboard only support 1 month view", but the data which can be viewed in the charts is limited to only one month.

    Reproduce steps:
1.select a VM -> Logs -> pick up a sample query, click "Run"
2.Change Time range "Custom", define a time range longer than 1 months, then run the sample query again
3.Click "Pin to dashboard", then select or create a dashboardImage
4.Go to dashboard, only 1 month data is shown in chart as shown below (from Jan.21 -…

  18. Request for Azure Virtual WAN Enhancements.

With the current Azre Virtual WAN, routing (weight and community) and route filtering cannot be controlled, so when connecting to multiple corporate WANs, asymmetric communication must be allowed and routing must be done on-premises equipment.
In the future, given the scalability of the combination of multiple in-house WANs and Azure Virtual WANs, we strongly request the implementation of a feature that allows all routing to be covered by the Azure Virtual WAN.

  19. Popout PrimaryResult Page on Kusto.Explorer

Kusto.Explorer already has the ability to popout(float) certain windows, Query Summary, QueryStatus, etc... However, the PrimaryResult tab does not as they are grayed out. Adding this feature would mean you could have more screen space for writing queries and seeing the results.
