  1. enable Azure MFA server to accept RADIUS attribute 31 for trusted IP evaluation.

Currently the RADIUS client must send the authenticating user's IP address via attribute 66 for Azure MFA RADIUS server to correctly evaluate trusted IP addresses. It would be tremendously helpful if that was configurable so that an admin could select a different RADIUS attribute (such as 31) for trusted IP evaluation. We use a NetScaler gateway and it will currently only send RADIUS attribute 31 (Calling-Station-Id) to the RADIUs server. Quick fix I presume!

    • SQLCMD Unexplained behaviour returning output starting with square brackets

      complete explanation at https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/b0c08c5d-a6aa-4ec7-9b54-87807cf81548/sql-server-2012-sqlcmd-unexplained-behaviour-returning-output-containing-square-brackets-?forum=sqltools

Basically, SQLCMD does not behave the same way since SQL 2012 when a message starts with an opening bracket.
The following command returns an empty string when previous version returned the entire text:
      sqlcmd -b -E -S -Q "RAISERROR('[A][B][C]',10,1)"
this one removes the firs value between brackets:
      sqlcmd -b -E -S -Q "RAISERROR('[A] [B][C]',10,1)"

      • Let Web Apps to be PCI compliance

Despite that PCI compliance is promoted at Azure, a Web App created at Azure is non compliant by default, and cannot be set-up appropriately.

I understand that a Web App is not as isolated as an ASE (that still is not compliance by default, needs advanced set-up), with instances sharing system level settings with other clients (so cannot be changed independently), and I understand some set-up changes that apply to all clients, even ones that do not require PCI, can lead to problems to some of them.

I propose an option to opt-in to PCI compliance at Web App level;…

        • Add description field to NSG Rule

It would be nice to have a way to describe the reason for a given NSG rule.

This would greatly simplify, for instance, bookkeeping for PCI DSS 3.1 item 1.1.6 which demands a business notification for each NSG rule.

Name field allows 80 chars but type description there is just not the right thing. Specially when you need to refer to a given rule while using CLI tools. Huge plus if it appears as a column while listing rules.

          • Support using Azure SignalR in ASP.NET (OWIN)

Azure SignalR SDK only runs on ASP.NET Core, which is a blocker for lots of companies / existing projects.

Please also support ASP.NET (OWIN runtime).

              • Allow NSG for VPN Gateway Subnet

We want to connect several devices with our Azure VNET via the VPN Gateway. Therefore the VPN Gateway is configured for P2S connections.

We want to restrict the devices so that they can only communicate with certain other devices.

To implement this functionality we need to assign the VPN Gateway subnet a NSG. Furthermore this NSG should be dynamic, because the IPs provided by the VPN Gateway to its clients clould not be predetermined.

Currently NSGs are not supported for VPN Gateway subnets as well as there is no way to control IP allocation for connecting devices.

                • Geographic filter for web server

Azure can not use geographic filter for http or https.
If we can use that feature, we can restrict user access by country or location.

I hope we can use geographic filter with WAF or NSG.

                    • B2B invitation status

                      Azure Active Directory B2B account.

Now there isn't possiblity to generate report, if B2B user has activated account or not. It would be good to have feature to list not activated users from administrative perspective. Example when doing acocunt clean up.

There are fields in profile like Source which contain Invited user or Resend invitation button is visible. Those indicates if user hasn't activated invitation.

Or even have automatic removal on directory, if invitation hasn't been approved within X days, B2B account is removed automatically. As if account hasn't been activated, it cannot be used anywhere.

                      • Need for RBAC permission specialized for "Local Network Gateway".

At the moment, we do not have a permission specialized for RBAC.

As its background, we want to limit the amount of the permission which we assign to our user.
Since there are too many permissions when we add "Microsoft.Network/*", our user needs a permission specialized for Local Network Gateway.

We can set following permissions (Actions and NotActions) by setting up the NotActions listed below.
However, in order to avoid unexpected permissions when a new feature is released, could you kindly add specialized Local Network Gateway permission?

                        [Japanese]
                        RBAC の権限として、ローカル ネットワーク ゲートウェイに特化したものがありません。

                        各ユーザーに対して、必要最小限の権限のみを与えたいと考えていますが、
                        "Microsoft.Network/*" を付与する方法では付与される権限が多すぎるため
                        ローカル ネットワーク ゲートウェイに特化した権限を必要としています。

                        以下のように NotActions…

                            • Create a Windows Key Storage Provider (KSP) that effectively allows usage of Azure Key Vault as a virtual hardware security module (HSM)

If windows could use Azure Key Vault as a KSP, it would better secure the private keys of any certificates in Windows - effectively acting as a virtual hardware security module (HSM). I believe this would enable migration of workloads that require a HSM to Azure, and reduce cost for on-prem workloads that might otherwise require a HSM. It would also make it easier / more secure to setup a public key infrastructure (PKI) / certificate authority (CA) in Azure -- or even on-premises for that matter.

                              • Disable or raise limit for paid SendGrid accounts

Allow users to create more than two paid SendGrid accounts.

Depending on your architecture layout you may want to set up single small SendGrid accounts per application and this is currently not possible as there's a hard limit set to two accounts, no matter if these are paid or free ones.

I'd suggest that you completely disable or at least raise the existing limit for paid SendGrid accounts.
For free accounts this limit totally makes sense but I can't understand why you set the same limit for paid resources here.

                                  • Integrate Azure MFA with the Windows login process, maybe through Windows Hello for Business.

From what I can see it's not currently possible to integrate Azure MFA into the Windows domain login process as a second factor. For example, if a user was to authenticate to the local AD first and then be required to use Azure MFA to add a second factor, using the Microsoft Authenticator app. This would remove the need for third party smartcards or hardware tokens.

                                    • Add nested resource groups

I would like to have nested resource groups. A scenario in which this can be usefull is in DTAP. You can create a resource group for the application/service; and within that resourcegroup you could create resource groups for all the DTAP stages. For Example: A resourcegroup called "MyApp" with resourcegroups "Dev", "Test", "Production" in it.

                                      • Clear mail address from a synchronized Security Group after deleting it in on-prem AD

Let's say you have a security group with email address, group@contoso.com, on AAD that is synchronized from on-prem AD.
Delete the email address in on-prem AD, and run a sync. The SG now has email address of group@contoso.onmicrosoft.com.
IMHO, the email address should be completely deleted from the SG on AAD too.
                                        Thoughts?

                                        • Ability to view Support plans in the Azure Portal

The support plans to be able to be viewed in Azure Portal. When monthly statements get sent out support plans are unable to have the statement attached in PDF form automatically. This needs to be added.
