Support Event Grid
Add event grid support to datalake as event grid provider each time that file was added/edited.

This is something that would open up a whole range of possibilities. Please make it happen and soon

Any update on this ?
It will be very good feature to trigger a Azure Data Factory Pipeline (even trough Event Grid and then Azure Function) when some file is added to Azure Data Lake Store

Agree with Jason Thomas. At this point Azure should be mature enough that we don't have to roll our own for basic functionality.

I need this, voted for this.
But frankly... I'm tired for items like this even being up for voting. I expect a certain level of feature parity and integration in Microsoft products. Simple tasks like which help bring Data Lake store on parity with other storage options. Tasks like this which were espoused during the build conference on how simple it is to use functions, data grids, and everything else.
A task like this which if you have any integration with data grids, should be done in days where as a lame workaround even for a single developer will take considerably more time. This times N developers = insane inefficiencies.
Have your CEO spend some of the billions of quarterly profit to get you guys staffed appropriately to create the requisite features. Otherwise if you keep skimping, perhaps next time I'll look at AWS.

We also need to have this functionality enabled. Every time there is a file added/updated to ADLS folder there should be event grid triggered. Is there an ETA for this ?
Is there any ETA on adding this support?
