Tool like Azure Storage Explorer but for Data Lake
Please post a supported or sample tool that provides a GUI and lets you upload and download local files to Azure Data Lake Store. It should be able to authenticate with AAD then display folders and let you upload and download to local files. It should not require any Azure subscription permissions, only WebHDFS permissions.
I would consider this to be the equivalent of the Azure Storage Explorer... but for Azure Data Lake Store.

Please can we have the same address bar experience as we do in Windows File Explorer - really need to be able to copy the address and edit it.

+1. I agree this would be super helpful in allowing our customers to upload files to our data lake that we can process for analytics etc. It remove us needing to use FTP & a logic app or some other interim solution to allow customers to access the lake to load data.
It's not exactly the same as Azure Storage Explorer, but there I do find the new Azure Data Lake tools plugin for VSCode quick and useful, allowing me to Upload a file, folder, delete files or folders, and do other nice stuff - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-data-lake-tools-integrates-with-vscode-data-lake-explorer-and-azure-account/

Is there an update on this? It is quite a pain to browse and upload/download files using the Azure Portal.
it will be ideal to have the azure storage explorer to have the data lake store access directly.
Same here! Having it in VS and in the Portal does not give a good overview like Azure Storage Explorer

Yes, we are looking forward to see an explorer to manage files in ADLS accounts

Is there a proposed timeline for when the newly ADSL-supported Azure Storage Explorer will be available? Will there be any further improvements in ASE made at the same time? A searching capability will be useful (searching for filenames and file content).

We are working on adding ADLS management to Azure Storage Explorer, which contains following main features like upload local files to ADLS, download files from ADLS, access ADLS through AAD without Azure subscription, etc.
Azure Storage Explorer is a tool to provide traditional explorer experience : http://storageexplorer.com/index.html
If you want to know more, or have any advice and suggestion on ADLS, please feel free to contact me : email@example.com
